I knew it would show up OK. Adam does wonderful work and his whips are really solid. You'll enjoy that whip. Might want to work on not lokoing quite so nervous when you crack it

That's his IOAB Whip isn't it? I've heard nothing but great things about that whip and I'd love to own one of Adam's whips one day. A while back he was nice enough to supply me with a bunch of scrap leather that I still have and I have used to make my own whip holder. Adam is a great guy and that's one great whip you got there CJ.

Ah, I thought it had finer plaiting than my IOAB! Very nice whip AND it came with the white fall! Now WHEN are you going to get those pics of you in your Wested up, EH?

Yea, I think he uses 1 plaited belly and 1 bolster in his 8 plait whips, the IOAB is just a loaded core with a cowhide overlay. Adam

Mmm, very hard to tell. If you were wearing 'classic cut' jeans with a belt where would that fall? Remember Indy's trousers are worn a little higher than we're used to today.
Guys what do you think?

That jacket looks fine - unzipped. (Most, if not all, Westeds zipped to the collar look pretty funny, though. I never zip mine past the chest because of that.) The shirt out of the pants look always seems to provide the illusionary shorter Wested. So, on the back it's longer? The front looks maybe a bit short, but not so much that it's out of the margin of other Raiders jackets out there. (My jackets are a tad too short also, actually, for an exact "spec'd" result but I still love 'em.) In this case, it looks like the untucked shirt is what creates that look. The jacket's not too short. But Connecticut, your specific deal is that the back panel is longer than the front, right? So far, I'm seeing no problems with that jacket.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a bandwagon jumper here but... I think the length looks fine. I personally don't wear my Wested's with shirts untucked for that very reason. I think it falls just below your waist line, which is actually perfect for a Raider's jacket. Like the others have stated, I would have to see the difference between the front and back to tell for sure. You have to be happy either way, but that's really where the jacket is supposed to fall.... and it looks good on you! Ken PS - I would be more concerned about the fact that you seem to have no head or feet!

CJ, I've only just seen this thread. I love your 'new' whip! Looks like a beauty! Have you had a chance to crack it much since you got it?

Nice acquisition! I hope to get one of those one day. Since I don't have a place to crack it, it'll just be for display or costuming only. No point for me to get an uber whip like a Morgan.
