I've decided to shut up shop for a while. Partly due to something forwarded to me in a pm, and partly because I need a rest. I have two orders that i will fulfil - and i have hides enough for two more 8footers, should anyone want one. Other than that I won't be making any more whips for a while. Not a permanant halt, but probably a year off.

Pagey, With the quality of the whip you sent me I would sincerely ask you not to take a break and keep 'em coming. This thing is beautiful. I will be taking it out for some cracking time tommorrow and will post some pics afterward. I really like the feel it has. Best Wishes, G-MANN

I've gotta agree with G-MANN, Pagey. You're work looks wonderful, it would be a shame to see you quit, even if it is just for a while.

Whoa - I'm not quitting whipmaking! I'm just closing shop for a bit, meaning I won't be taking orders for at least 6 months. As I said, when I've finished my current two, I will accept 2 more orders for 8footers to use the hides I've got but that's all. John, I'm glad you like your whip - hope to see some cracking pics soon

Not good The only guy in my necks of the woods, who's even worth considering over a J.S. and than he takes a break for 6 months! Well, I might just be un-able to afford one for the next 6 months anyway... It's just sad to see such a talent taking such long a break. Regards, Marc

Well, I'm glad to hear it's only for a few months. Pagey, I think your whip photos really show off the fine job you are doing on them! Ken

Well folks, I finally got out of the house and tried out my new whip from Pagey. It cracks super easily. As far as quality I can only compare it with my two Joe Strain whips. It is right there with them quality wise and the color is fantastic. I think Pagey's color comes closest to the Raider's color. However I am not the screen accurate authority. Thanks Pagey Keep 'em comin I say, rest is overrated ;D Joe Strain / Pagey / Joe Strain Pagey's Best Wishes, John

Wow, that is a nice whip. I can't even tell the difference between the three. Great craftsmanship. G-Mann, I didn't know you owned three whips. I agree with the others that's a great collection you've got going there.
