Thanks much John! But, as generous as you have been to us over the past few months, I would have to cut his normal fee in half for you. That should also bring it down to the standard mark up for replicated props sold online as well. Just kidding of course... much thanks! Ken

haaa ken thats awesome. Having been up to date with checking, but i see your son has come along well. Very cool to have a dad that lets him get a whip Cant wait to see him and u on an adventure together. Even though he doesnt completely look like him, you should get marcus some short round gear and have him go with you to a troop, or on one of your video adventures

Thanks Bryan! Yeah, we are going to work him in to a future action video, most likely as Short Round. It's ok that he doesn't look like him, because I don't look like Indy either! Thanks again, Ken

Just watched the video! That's great! For his third day out, it's excellent! Good call on the whip lessons, RagingBlues. Smart too! While he's mowing the lawn, he can fend off Jovitos! Allowing dad more time to ponder in peace. Very cool!

I just found this. Don't feel bad about missing stuff, Blues. I'm not working and I still can't keep up with all of the threads. These are great shots and it's cool to see you teaching your son how to use a whip. My sons are a little bit to young yet, 2 and 4, but I did show them the video and they got a kick out of it. I need to really get out there with my whip and practice your son is doing better than I am! ;D

I repaired your whip! get cracking blues! One thing RagingBlues, Ive noticed in all the videos you guys have posted, you tend to hold it at the end of the handle towards the thong of the whip. If you hold it at the junction of the handle, it tends to put to much stress on it, and makes it harder to crack. Try holding the whip on the knot (next to the wrist strap) it should be much easier to crack. And with the knot in your hand, it should be much easier to controll.

Thanks Wolf, I appreciate your advice and will give it a try. I have "The New Bullwhip Book", which says the same thing. But, it never feels right to me, to hold it like that.... and I guess I need to watch Indy crack again, because I never thought he held his whip that far back. Oh well, I'm game for trying it out again... Thanks, Ken

Let us know how it goes Just one more thing....wear saftey glasses. As comfortable as you may begin to feel with the whip it can still strike when you least expect it. Just like any tool, they can go crazy on you. Ive lashed my face multiple times when trying to do combos, and even when i had glasses on i still was not 100% safe. The fall wrapped the glasses and pulled them off Just be careful and have fun. Nice Whip too by the way, adam Is a master.
