I bought a Tanaka S&W M10 Military & Police 4 inch airsoft revolver from www.AirSoftGlobal.com recently and a S&W Victory model Lanyard Ring from a guns supplies website. How do I attach the Lanyard Ring to the base of the revolver handle without splitting the black plastic handle meant to resemble the metal part. I know not to attach it to the false wood grips.... Any ideas?

I would purchase a lanyard from a local gun store explain to the merchant what your goal is an dthey should give ou what your need. Since the thread on the screw is most likely machined you have two options that I would try. Option: 1. drill into the gun smaller than the thread and some glue that works well with the material of the gun and screw it down until its close an dthen hand tighten. Option: 2. pick up a self threading screw and drill the hole smaller and start hand twisting the screw into place.
Good luck

Option 2
I forgot to mention replace the original screw with a self tapping one. Sorry about that.
