SA interior Cotton or Satin?

Okay, here's another question:

Was the original interior of the hero jacket used in Raiders all Cotton or all Satin, or the Cotton Body and Satin Sleeves that they recommend?

Anyone know this?

Here's what I originally ordered from Wested:
Dark Brown Lambskin, all Satin interior, Extra Pocket, Brass Zippers, plus Brass Zippers on interior pockets as well.

But due to confusion on which was more SA to the hero, I asked them to swith from Dark Brown to Authentic and they replied.
Now I'm just waiting to hear about which interior is SA for the hero jacket.

Any thoughts on this?

Oh and by the way, on a different note:
I recieved an AB shirt from Kim and its a nice shirt although I'm not personally completly satisfied with the weight/material of it.

Its nice but the cut is a bit too tight for me, and the material although 100 percent better than Todd's Costumes feels too light and when I move the shirt makes noise like heavy paper.
Don't get me wrong, I like the shirt, but I'm looking at different material options....

I'm an artist and I worked one summer at the Rainforest Cafe going table-to-table doing caricatures.
Anyway, I still have one of their Safari shirts and I love the material and the cut. Its a bit dog-eared now but that just adds to the character of it.

So I'm currently trying to find a local seamstress who will take both shirts, and using similiar material to the Rainforest shirt while using the basic 'look' and color of the Indy shirt and make an original shirt for me.

I'll let everyone kow how it goes, whoever is interested....

No correction needed, as the Indy jacket was a dark brown leather jacket. You are trying to decide between two shades of dark brown being offered by a jacket maker. It's up to you to choose which dark brown you like, but that doesn't change the fact that both are shades of dark brown.

I think at one point Peter proclaimed that no satin linings were used in any Raiders jackets. I can't say for sure. SA is not very important to me personally. I can say that all satin linings are very unpleasant if you live in a warmer or more humid climate. The lining just sticks to your skin once the humidity rises. The cotton is much more breathable and comfortable in my opinion. If you live in a cooler climate, I don't think it's a big issue. I would imagine that all cotton was used to keep Harrison and his doubles as comfortable as possible in the extreme dry heat of Tunesia. I haven't been to Tunesia but I have worn my all cotton lined lamb in the eastern and western Sahara and found it to be surprisingly bearable.

As far as we know the Raiders jackets had an brown all cotton lining. Peter has said that it did in the past and there has been no evidence presented to refute that.

It is comfortable, some have complained that the cotton sleeves grab into shirt sleeves and suggest tha satin for the sleeves. (I don't know maybe their mums never taught those people to grab their sleeve cuff when putting on a jacket??). The satin is a very nice lining, but it can get clammy in certain more humid climates, it's a bit like what you get in a suit jacket. My personal experience is that the cotton is less likely to run than the satin and is less prone to wear from general friction.

The ToD jacket is nylon lined. There are anecdotal reports of the lining having been replaced in production with cotton but the NH jacket still has a brown nylon lining to this day.

The LC jacket seems in some shots to have a very dark or even black lining, it looks silky in some shots so it 'might' be a satin/nylon. The prototype that it is reportedly made from has a black nylon lining.

The CS jacket has a black nylon lining.
