Yeah, I couldn't resist for that price. I also bought one of Todd's Raiders holsters. I figured, I'm gonna have a Raiders pistol, I already have a decent Raiders fedora, my jacket is a Wested SO Raiders, so what the hell!

I got the air soft revolver this morning. I also got one of Todd's standard Raiders holsters. Here's the kicker, the bloody thing is too big for the holster! I'm still trying to figure out how to seal my resin S&W. My mom suggested nail polish. I could distress it after that. I don't know... -Josh

Which airsoft did you buy from Speedytoys? And in what way is it too big? Is the barrel too long, or is the entire frame just too large to fit into the holster? (That would be pretty weird if it were, since the real S&W HE2 has a large frame and I would figure that Todd's Raiders holster should be big enough to fit a real HE2) Does your resin S&W fit Todd's holster?
How about some pics?

I checked out thier site and the one I see that would be the best fit for a Raiders holster is this..... www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=5831But...if I remember correctly you have a LC or TOD holster. Most of these look like the barrel structure is too wide for your holster. Check this one out that Sold on Ebay a while back. Cheers, John

The resin S&W does fit, but until I can seal the paint, it will scrape off every time. But...if I remember correctly you have a LC or TOD holster. great pics there, its a shame that they must have a bright orange tip on the barrell
in the UK there is a new law as we have the highest firearm security levels in the world, that all airsoft guns must be completely bright colours and not "real" colours what so ever
and plastic kit guns are illegal now, its completely insane that a gun capable of firing real bullets that been deactivated is perfectly legal! but a prop that is not capable of firing anything but looks real is illegal

When are governments going to get it? It is not the law abiding citizen that is a threat, but the criminals and terrorists, which can easily get guns and don't care. I have two thoughts... If some person is stupid enough to brandish, or wave around in front of police, a plastic toy gun that looks real..they are idiots that deserve to get their heads mistakenly;y blown off! Now here is the REAL irony...if I were a criminal...what would prevent me from painting my REAL gun with an orange tip, therefore fooling the police into thinking it is just a toy..then, when the law is off guard..I start blasting away... Food for thought.... I think they might have strict laws about having a gun, real or not, in public, but to not allow people in the privacy of their own homes...? And in England...powerful air rifles and pistols are totally legal, some are lethal esp. at short ranges... So why are they allowed..and WITHOUT orange tips..but a plastic look-a-like water gun is banned???

My guess is the full under barrel lug is to blame for the poor fit. Is there anyway to determine whetther the lug is solid or hollow? If it's solid, maybe you could use a bench grinder to remove most of the lug and the holster you have may work.
