I found a jacket I really liked at Sears, for a clearance price of only $42.50. I like the way it sort of combines a WWII era feel with something you might see in a futuristic sci-fi movie. It's also lightweight and has that really soft, broken in feel to it already. Here's a few shots, just for the heck of it: The buttons can be used in addition to the zipper, or remain hidden behind the storm flap. Ken

I like the epaulets and zipper/button front combo. Looks like a steal at less than $50.

Very nice Ken. Long enough to keep your butt warm too. Cheers, John

Thanks much guys! I have no justification for needing it... I just wanted it. And John, I have no need of a cold butt, so this jacket will help with that too. ;D Ken

Cool jacket, Ken! I think it definitely has a lot of vintage character to it, with the epaulets, optional buttons and the belt style back panel. I also like how the jacket already has a great broken in look to it. No doubt this jacket was a steal at that price!

Thanks guys! I also shared this in case someone else liked the jacket enough to want one. Your local Sears store just might have them too.
