Just wanted to keep everyone up to date.
There was always a few things that I wanted to have on my site so customers didn't have to search for when buying a custom handmade hat.
-hat stand -hat boxes -water protection -hat brushes
I working on getting all of these so my customers will have everything they will need to take care of their hats and wont have to go searching all over to find it or pay more than one shipping fee.
-Hat stand will be hand made wood so you can place them on your desk, shelve, closet or Anywhere. When I get the first proto type in I'll will post pics. I will have it priced in affordable range.
- Hat boxes , I just found a place will make a hat boxes of good quality and affordable.
-water protection is just a matter of getting in the large amount and putting them into plastic bottles with labels

Same here! I really have to commend your efforts on offering a full range of products and services, Oak! I'm especially interested in the wooden hat stands, myself. I always like displaying my hats when I'm at home (and thus not wearing them). Right now I've got simple pieces of cardboard taped together doing the job, but I'd love to have something nicer. What sort of design are you planning to use for the hatstands? (I've seen a few different kinds out there)

I have about 12 bottlers of B & L product if anyone is interested. It is 16 dollars a bottle and if used on just one hat should last you a couple of years. Thats not including shipping. Ounce there gone they are gone.
I will be using a 2 different water protection on my hats. One I will use on the hat when it is being made and another that I will provide for customers who would want to purchase some for the life of there hat.
I was trying to buy B & L product to sell or even try buying the company but the women who owns it is just not focused on this side of her business. I would love to have sold this product or even own it but it's not going to happen. I did find another that I think will work out and be better than any other product that you could buy and be safe to ship. I still have to work out the details
I' still working on boxes and it look like it's just a matter of time ( and money).
hat stands and hat jacks will take a bit more time to get a handle on.

Here are the hat stands. I'm offering them in 3 different woods at $40 each not including shipping. -Black Walnut -Cherry -White Oak I know , I know. Oak. I'll let the photos tell the story. They are all hand done with engraving on the very top of them with The Penman hat co. logo. One other update. I took another route with the hat boxes. The hat box prototype should be in my hands this week coming up. Hat jacks are in the works and hope to have a prototype soon, stay tuned.

Introducing the Penman hat co. hat box. It comes in 2 colors Black and Dark Brown. They are handmade using bengaline fabric. The box is lined with white chip and has a cording handle. They are tougher than the other boxes but are a heck of a lot nicer to look at. I really like the feel of the box and I think they look real classy. A good addition to a handmade custom fedora. I have them in 2 size 16" wide and 8" High at $35 12" Wide and 6" High at $33

One more product to get done and then I'm complete what I set out to do. Last item will be the Penman hat jack.

bendingoak,
You sure do have some nice hats! Great line of other products as well! I saw over on The Fedora Chronicles that you made an official hat for them...way to go! That lid is sharp and has a lot of character!

That is a sweet looking hat! I like the color of the felt, the liner, and the creasing/shaping of the hat itself. Congrats on the nice lid, Ken

These pics are from The Fedora Chronicles website. I understand the offer is for a limited time (and to members of good standing) and there may or may not be another offer in the future. I hope to get one this time around if I can scrape up enough dough.
