Got my new Raiders Goat from Wested!!

Well, after lurking on here for @6 months, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a standard Raiders jacket in goatskin. Ordered it on Saturday and guess what- it came in today!! Actually yesterday, but I had to go to the stinking post office to get it.

And let me tell you, it is one beautiful coat. It fits perfect, looks perfect, and smells like a little bit of heaven. (yes, I forgot how good new leather smells)

I was expecting to wait 2 weeks or so to get it, so imagine my surprise when I got home last night from work and there was a note saying I had a package waiting for me at the post office. I didn't know what it was at first (I am also waiting on a new pool cue-but then I remembered I had that shipped to my work).

This is by far one of the nicest jackets I have ever seen, much less owned. If anyone wants, I will be more than happy to try and figure out how to post pics. And if anyone wants pics of any particular part of it, let me know. I know I wanted more pics of the action pleat from the side before I bought it, but I couldn't really find any.

Sorry for the novel, but I am still giddy as a schoolgirl....

I know, I know- watched LC this weekend and that stuck in my head...

Wested OTR jackets do not run small, they are pretty much a true fit, not quite a baggy modern cut jacket and not as slim as a 30's jacket. The ROLA is slightly more close cut, especially under the arms.

If you are used to baggy modern jackets you might find them slim but they are not really.

Measure your chest (not saran wrap tight) give yourself a inch or two leeway, and order that. Westeds have some breathing room built in, they are mean to be fitted but not wetsuit tight!

If you are concerned about the jackets being undersized for you order 1 size up.
