I'm no jacket expert but from what I see That is one sweet looking jacket. About how much does a Nowak jacket cost?

Beautiful jacket, Kap! I have to say, all of the Nowak jackets I've seen have looked incredible, so far, and your is of course no exception! I also like the results of the added distressing you put it through. It gives a great jacket even more character, in my opinion. Congrats!

Congrats on being brave enough to buy the jacket you wanted, and then immediately age it. It looks like a well worn friend now! Ken

thanks guys! I just don't like the way a new jacket looks and fits. It always looks and fits better when it's been hit by some water IMO.

Looks nice kaplan, and I couldn't agree more about the water thing.

Thanks John! I'm glad I went with the cheaper TN option. Anyway, I don't want to contribute to the mania of the whole Tony Nowak is "the best Indy jacket" thing... We get enough of that from guys that don't have other Indy jackets. But I really think that the TN jacket will hold its own over time to create a strong reputation as being a high quality and reliable option up there with G&B. It really is well constructed.

That is good to hear. I always assumed the quality and durability would have been top-notch with Nowak's jackets, since he managed to get the Indy 4 gig. Were I the sort of lad to have an excess of spending green laying around, I'd probably spring for a Nowak myself...but alas, I am not that sort of lad. ;D Anyways, I'll be looking forward to seeing more pics in the future as this jacket ages. It looks like the type of jacket that will only look better and better the more it's worn.

I just got a follow-up phone call from TN. He wanted to know if I got the jacket because he was worried! Plus, he was curious as to whether or not he got the specs right because I was very particular in my order. I have to say... that's the kind of customer service I appreciate. He's a great guy in my book.

By the way Kaplan, your jacket turned out great! I like the way Tony distressed mine though so I think Im just going to work on naturally distressing it myself through wear and tear...well, hopefully no tears...you know what I mean.

That is a sweet jacket. I'm glad that you're happy with it since you paid for it. I think I'd get one too if I didn't already spend so much on the lottery and alcohol.
