I'm not sure what the fashion police would say about wearing a brown hat with a black suit. But, with the right tie... I think it works! This was an unused photo from my recent PS Adventure scenes (mainly because I accidently looked at the camera instead of away from it ). Anyway, I thought the combination looked good and just wanted an excuse to share it. Ken

Brown fedora with black suit works just fine. 2 reasons, everything goes with black and the other ( most important) is how you pull in the brown from the hat. Just like you did my friend. Good job , i like it.

Brown and black definitely go together even without the complimentary tie color. That's a great outfit!

Certainly a Black suit works with a brown Fedora. It's AOK.

That's a darn good looking pic you've got there RB. I like the whole ensamble......The tie color does balance things out some, but....I think the hat would have looked with the suit regardless of the tie color.... Just one question though. How long did it take you to run back in the house and put some shorts on after wearing all that in 90 degree weather? ;D The JPD looks great by the way.

That looks great. Now I know I can wear my black suit with my AB, as long as I get a brownish tie. Thanks for pushing the envelope, Ken. 'Blues

Yeah, lookin' mighty sharp there, Ken!
The brown hat with a black suit looks perfect! The tie definitely brings it all in well. I've always felt funny about wearing my brown fedoras with black in the past, (be it suits, overcoats, whatever) and I'm not really sure why. Especially now that I've seen this pic! ;D You've proven my fears were unfounded on this one for sure, Ken!

Ken, you looked like you're reading the riot act to some litterbug in the park! ;D If I were him, I'd be seriously intimidated! Seriously though, that combination looks awesome!

Wow... how did I miss all these responses? Thanks very much to all you guys for looking and offering your comments on the combo. I probably look more Mr. Bookman, the library records inspector.... than somebody even remotely intimidating! ;D Thanks again, Ken
