Greetings all! First time poster here, though I've been lurking for quite a while. I've learned a great deal from reading many of your posts, and decided to grab a Wested jacket to call my own; a Last Crusade Novapelle. Simply cannot wait to recieve it!
I was a little put off by the online ordering at first; it's by no means the most professional looking website ever, but functional. Then I placed my order, and for a day or so got no reply by phone or email, and began to worry. I decided to call Wested, at 1.30am here in Australia, around 4.30pm in the UK.
Imagine my surprise when it was answered by Peter himself!
I was expecting to talk to..well, anyone but him! To me, it was like calling Microsoft and having Bill Gates answer.
And what a fantastic guy! Peter was very helpful, finding my order and giving me advice on sizing and what not. I thought that was very nice, considering it was a Friday afternoon, when one is usually thinking about the weekend and not much else!
This phonecall really reassured me that I'd made the right decision going with a Wested jacket.
I have a few weeks to wait, obviously, but I will try and post some pics when the jacket arrives. Thanks for listening to the ramblings of yet another Indy-gear fanatic!

It's especially fun when it's an accent that you didn't expect. When I first talked to Peter, I couldn't understand a word he said on the phone. It was too fast and cockney for my poor dumb midwestern yankee ears to handle. ;D
