I'm new to the site and wanted to say Hi. I am old enough to have seen ROTLA in the theatres, and consider it my favorite movie. I have been collecting and building props as a hobby within my hobby/job profession of building monsters and makeup FX for many, many years. I currently have a pretty good collection, but my Indy stuff will always be dear to me. My Indy Idol is pretty cool. I see a lot of Idols out there (I got myself a resin casting about 15 years ago from a friend in the industry) and have been using copies of it to trade for other props since. My Idol is vacuum metalized, just like the movie version. Sure a couple of stunt version are out there painted, but Chrome is the way to go. If you want to see a photo, I will gladly email anyone who wants to see it, as I don;t have a link yet. Also I have a couple of other props to trade (or sell) and I am currently working on my own Crystal Skull, which I would love to trade to anyone who wants it. It should be ready in about two weeks. Please feel free to say HI and check out my website at www.pjfxstudio.ca, cheers!

Hey, I see you have worked also on Silent Hill... Well, that's great! The janitor was creepy and the dresses of the nurses, well, those were kinda hot! LOL ;D I'm really curious to see how your crystal skull turns out, and in case you need a concept artist for a future work...

I have just visited the web site...imressive work indeed !! I used to do illustrations and sketches for a small effects company in the late .80's. Back then the worked in the basement of one of the company's owners (the company being composed of two twin brothers) and they worked part-time doing prosthetics and pyrotechnique effects for T.V. and commercials. The company grew much larger since then and they now have many artists working for them in a large facility doing effects for T.V. and movies ! Too bad I haven't been in touch with them for a long time now.
