At that price it will most likely still be here in Chicago when you arrive.

Yeah, the bar is set pretty high on the price. Shoot, if I were the current owner I would have stuck with something a little higher than what the letter said (on the ebay listing, from a previous owner had it around 60 to 75K). If the price were alot lower, I'd email a favorite car museum of mine in Denver to check it out. *Forney Museum*

The actual value of that car is about $80,000 because of it's rare body and film history. The Indy connection is not enough to justify asking a bajillion dollars for it. Nice pictures though. I do like how the ad says "$2,500,000" and then "Get low monthly payments."

Not to rain down on the guys parade but Holy Grail of movie car history? ? Come on the most famous car in the world would be the 1969 Dodge Charger known as the General Lee, but movie cars would be lets say the Ellenor, Doc Browns Delorean in Back to the Future, the Charger in Fast in the Furious, any of the Batmobiles, the 1957 Chevy in Christine, etc..... I'm a fan of Indy's but a person can't just throw around the term Holy Grail!! Unless the car can bring me Back to the Future it is not worth $2000000. Carrol Shelby's Cobra did not even sell for that much at the Barrett Jackson Auction. $60000 might be worth it but only to the right person, personally I would rather have a fast ass car to get speeding tickets in, like the General Lee. YeeeeHaaaaaaa!!!
