It looked so amazing on screen. Yes, it is not Raiders, but it is a very sharp looking-well built looking Leather Jacket. For the price, I will splurge but will decline on any of the fancy writing on the inside. Anyone else?

I agree, defininately loose the silly inscription inside, It might have been classy if it was the size of the contract patch inside a A2 but the way it's done right now is just plain NAFF. The Nowak jackets need a serious dose of pecard too, currently they look way lighter than the screen jacket. |

Then, he lost the shirt and pants when he knocked out the Nazi soldier and took his uniform. I'm guessing he took the guy's boots too, but have no idea at the moment. Ken |

I'm fuzzy about this thread...exactly what jacket are you talking about ? This thread started as if a continuity to another, I though I was reading page two of a thread I missed.
I'm guessing there is a KOTCS jacket replica available but it is not clearly mentioned in the first post ? And what is this inside inscription about ? Some information or a web link would be nice.

I really like the look of the new Indy 4 jacket as well. The gear (mainly hat and jacket) was really a high-point of the movie for me (but I won't get into that here).
Anyways, Cowboy, I'm looking forward to seeing your Nowak jacket. I'm thinking about going for the Wested version at some point, mainly because of the price difference, but even then, it won't be for quite a while. What's the current price on the Nowak, anyways? I believe I heard that they were going to be priced less than originally thought.

So, what you are saying is that Nowak are making a KOTCS replica jacket available for sale ?
Doesn't U.S. Wings also offer a new jacket of the same pre-distressed hide as in KOTCS ? Thought I'd seen that somewhere.

If you get a Wested.......by the time you send it back for repairs or for other reasons.......it will cost the same as a Nowak  Kidding! (sorta) |

It's $675 plus shipping. (Plus brokerage, and some duty for those outside the US, not a lot, I've heard $25 duty for a Canadian buyer, as it is marked as lower than actual on the declaration).
It has a huge silkscreened paragraph inside the jacket just under the pocket. I'm not kidding on HUGE, it's about the size of the face of a paperback book.

As I understand it.....US Wings bought all the leftover hides from the KOTCS jackets and sold them as Ltd Edition Jackets. I also believe that they have all since sold out.

KT... your first version of the paragraph had me laughing out loud! ;D ;D If I were going to buy a KOTCS jacket, it would be from Wested. I can't see paying that much more money for the same thing. The fact that it was reverse engineered from Peter's work, makes Wested a solid choice for this one (IMO). Ken |

Is there a link to these jackets or an info page? I went to www.tonynowak.com/index.html and saw a little ad block saying the would be available on 5/23 but I couldn't find anything else about them on the site. In fact, there seemed to be vary little of anything on that site. |

KEN: I have a G&B that I love KT.......I get the feeling that you don't love me anymore After the 3rd viewing this weekend.......I will NOT get it after all. Way too big sleeve openings and too short. Remember when we all thought that it was the longest of all the jackets?  Might tie for LC in shortness. Was Wested that short and have that big of sleeves??? BTW......You can all BITE ME ;D ;D ;D |
