I did it again. This one was for a price that I couldn't pass up. Just need to swap out the grips and add a lanyard ring. I'm not sure if I should chop this one or not. I think I'll keep the barrel the way it is.

Nice find, Andy! Man, you are snapping these things up left and right! ;D I supposed you could keep this one as is...or, maybe, just maybe, you could have yourself a nice Stembridge to go along with your Bapty. ;D Or better yet...sell it to me! (Kidding...kidding... ;D ) Anyways, congrats on the new S&W, Kap!

As I recall, the stembridge was a 1917 in .45 so I can't bring myself to create some sort of frankenstein of two different Indy guns. But I can always buy a 1917! ;D Just don't encourage me....

Ok, I just got it in the mail yesterday! Of course I didn't hesitate to swap out the grips and attach the lanyard ring. It looks great and I got a killer deal on it. Enough talk...here's the pics : And here's a small frame Smith with a laser grip that I bought for Ms. Kaplan today (a pretty girl has to pack some purse-heat these days ): So, yeah... one happy well armed family. And I'm still waiting on my Bapty which is still at the gunsmith. It looks like it's going to be a while. So I got this S&W much like people who buy Fed's while waiting for their AB's.

Thanks Griff! I would have taken it to the range today, but it's 90 something degrees outside. I will very soon, and this time I really will have to print out a Cairo swordsman and post the results.

Nice new aquisition, Kaplan! I especially like the photos of the Revolvers on their little silky pillow/blanket. Reminds me of the opening of the Sledge Hammer TV series from the 80's. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check it out on youtube as it is right up your 2nd ammendment alley!
