hmmmm, i'd like to see the footage myself. its not entirely shocking to me though either. Ford has a low tolerance for crap and a dry sense of humor (my observations), but this should be about marketing his film. hmmm.. 5 minutes later.... heres a couple of YouTube links to the red carpet footage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObSGzcEPYSw&feature=userwww.youtube.com/watch?v=7GGhHXO6Qww Its all i could find right now. looks ok though.

From what I've seen, Ford has always been awkward in public forums. He usually mumbles or says very little and even appears nervous at times. If anything, he seems to have loosened up a bit. I remember seeing him on the Tonight Show back when LC came out. He just sat there and barely said anything even after being prodded. In other interviews, I've seen the interviewer set him up and then he just gives a brief one sentence answer. That's just the man. Most actors are extroverts. He's an exception. I kind of like that about him.

every time I see him on the late show or some other talk show, I know that I can expect ZERO laughs. That's ok though. I appreciate the fact that he's a very private person. I mean, at least we don't have to listen to him talk politics or tell us to buy a hybrid or something.

I have met Harrison a few times, and can say he seemed very quiet, and shy. He signed a few photos for me, and was very nice, but very quiet. I like that about him. He's not annyoing like Brando was, but certainly as secretive.

Greetings ~ and in defence to Harrison Ford ~ here is my answer ~ Lets all discover (together) how Harrison really feels about this ~ www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpP7GfxGkCMkidding aside ~ Harrison Ford is a Private person, plain and simple, and has mentioned so on many occasions. ~ that's just his nature. He may be awkward in public, seems annoyed, and bothered, but, that's just him, and I think also that he had to keep moving along the carpet. ~ security issues. Because of photographers, who seem to swarm around certain stars like flies. If you noticed, all the cast and crew *stayed* pretty much together as they moved along the walkway. besides ~ he does (occasionally) come around, to rescue people in his (personal) helicopter... from the mountains and never says anything about that either ~ Thanks for reading! ~ IE

He goes out and does good stuff, but doesn't talk of it or use it as a PR stunt. He does stuff for kids too!

I just admire Harrison Ford for being one of the few Hollywood actors who has a sense of dignity of my trio of favorites (Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, and HF) he's never done anything that contraversial. He came from a hard, ordinary background, and I have an enormous amount of respect for where he's got himself through sheer hard work. He doesn't flaunt his wealth, and when he does charity, he doesn't demand attention for it. If he's shy in front of hundreds of people, who can blame him??

I saw him on Jay Leno the other week and he seemed really relaxed and funny too! Maybe he was having a good day!

hello everyone, it's been long time without posting here. I was surprised at how nice ,smiling and intereactive with the public Harrison was in Cannes and he signs for autographs as a LUNATIC, come on...the man when goes out to events for several times is seen to sign autographs, even one guy who met him recently at the Conservation Efforts at the 2008 SeaChange Party, Harrison was honored there, the guy told he was busy signing for autographs while Calista was calling him to go home...and I do laugh a lot with his talk shows, the man has a very unique sense of humour and can be very intersting to listen to what he has to say about life, career, piloting experiences and envrionmental issues.
