Good Morning Folks, Some of you will know me as JerseyJones from Club Obi Wan and others as CamptownHats from the Fedora Chronicles, but this is my first introduction here, so by way of formality, my name is Ken Spassione and I am the owner of the Camptown Hat Company Ltd. I make reasonably priced fedoras that are designed to last and look great for years. My website www.camptownhats.com will introduce you to the models I offer, including the tall crowned Fieldmaster, the city styled Metropolitan and my newest hat in collaboration with AdventureBilt Hats, the Model 1957 Legend which uses the distinct AdventureBilt block that put Indy back in hats for the new film. As a way of saying thanks for having me aboard and in an effort to put the world back in hats, I am extending my current sale from Club Obi Wan to the folks here, which is The Fieldmaster or Metropolitan for $175.00 with all styling included. A pair of these hats for $335.00 with styling free on the hat of your choice. The new Model 1957 Legend for $210.00 with Styling Included. I should have hat bodies on hand in two weeks to fill orders. I am ALWAYS available for questions or inquiries via email camptownhats@yahoo.com or call the shop line at 973 477 0934 9:00 AM-7:30 PM EST. Feel free to reach out to me. I thank you for your interest when you read this thread and thanks for letting me join the board ! Thanks very much and great regards Ken

Welcome to Indy Lounge Ken! I have recommended your nice looking lids to several people around here. They really seem like a geat value, without sacrificing the look. Your company website is already listed in our "Where To Buy" fedora and main sections, as well as on our extended information website for Indy fedoras. Why am I telling you all this? So you know that your hats are both appreciated and welcome here anytime... (yourself included, for that matter! ) I also hope you enjoy the familiar faces and friendly atmosphere we have come to enjoy. Ken (nice name huh? ;D)

Welcome, Ken. I checked out your web page and it looks like you have some nice hats there. I am a bit perplexed as to the reasons behind a joint venture with Adventurebuilt though. Regardless of my curiosity, I can't wait to see a photo of the 1957 hat. I've heard good things about your product from several people on this site and hope to see and hear more in the future.

Why thanks ! The AB venture was a bit of good fortune for me. With this arrangement, it lets me use the exact same block/crown that Steve uses for the handmade AB's, not just a similar one. Thus, if I get an order for a Raiders Streets of Cairo style, I can do it as close to spot on as my fingers permit. My standard block is a bit more rounded at the top. It is also a link to a great fellow hatter and secondarily, a link to the history of the films. Thanks Ken

I'll be ordering this hat soon. "The Legend". I'm the guy that won the Entertainment Tonight contest and got to go to that fan screening in New York. When I met Harrison he "ruined" my hat by autographing it( I love that sentence), so I need to get a new one. This looks like the perfect option for me!!

you HAVE to have some sort of pic from that. right? Or at least a pic of your autographed lid. I for one would love to see it.

I wish I could. I'm not really sure how to include any of my pictures. They're doozies, though. I got to meet Karen, Shia, and Harrison just before the New York fan screening. Entertainment Tonight was extremely nice to me! I can't believe I actually met Harrison Ford. And I did it while I was wearing my screen accurate( thanks to many of you here for your input) costume. If you want to see my video from Entertainment Tonight and my pics, just befriend me on Myspace. My I.D. is Indiana John Alexander. Or go to Youtube and type in the same thing. Indiana John Alexander. That should get you to the video!
