I haven't found any pictures of the real Brando from '53, but Hot Toys which is a parter company of Sideshow Collectibles. www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=6386Outfit look familiar? And don't surprised by the price. That's fairly typical for Hot Toys. -Josh

You mean this look? Yes, definately the costume of Mutt is taken from Brando in "the wild one"

Was that not the style back then for bikers?

Was that not the style back then for bikers? Actually... Yes! But there are some things that are really close... The ringer tee, the Jacket with the name written on (using the same "font"), the same pockets (except tne one on the bottom left), the same jeans with the end of the legs turned-up, the same boots, and finally the bike has the same colors (red and black)... It seems more than a coincidence, I think it's just an homage to another iconic character of the '50s

The Wild One! Of course. Thanks, Ramiel.
The thing that really stuck out to me in Mutt's outfit was the hat.

My dad, who grew up in the 50's tried to mimic this style as a young man. His school actually banned leather jackets because they were seen as "radical." I'm glad to see Mutt go with his own classic look comparable to Indy's but from another era.

It isn't hard to believe that Mutt's character saw this movie and was inspired to dress the part...just look at the Gear section we have here. Fans are fans, regardless of the decade.

Of course it's based on Brando's look !
It is said so in the ultimate guide that ... "Mutt has spent the last few years trying on various identities-the latest of which is borrowed from actors Marlon Brando and James Dean, singer Elvis Presley, and any number of leather-clad urban rebels."
