The first time I made one it was for my Halloween costume. This time Belloq wanted to make him one so I said ok. I did some tweaking on his version (rev1) and experimented with the color. I hand made 5 stones out of plaster, since it is winter and I get bored easy. I just made these for the fun of it and for a fellow fan. I farted around the house today making 3 more stones since my kid is sick and the wife is gone. Stones 1-5 Final Set (I know I need to upgrade my Indy Bag) Stone 1 Stone 2 Stone 3 Stone 4 Stone 5

Those are brilliant, I love how you gave each one a unique look. Thanks KT. it's easier to carve them different, than to carve them to all look the same. ;D I used direct carving using truth to materials. In other words used the flaws to incorporate into each piece. I actually sound like I know what I'm talking about! ;D Not bad for a guy sitting around drinking beer on his day's off!

Those look really cool. Especially the customising on each one. It's hard to believe you made each one just in an afternoon!
I hope you get a good price for them! You definitely deserve it!

Number 3 is spoken for? Hmm,...what happened to that PM you sent me, asking how they looked. Didn't you get my reply? 'Blues

Those look really nice and most importantly.... they look like real stones that have been carved, not clay. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with making these out of clay, but I have seen a few that just didn't look the part. Nice work! Ken

I just wanted to give Belloq first chance at them. He's been in contact with me for a few months now. I'm making a few more to fine tune my skills a bit.

Hey Pat, Again, These all look fantastic and you did a really good job. I know you think your just sitting around, but I couldn't pull that off, you definately have artistic talent. Thanks again for deciding to undertake this, it was fun getting updates along the way. I can't wait to show these off to my friends. Great work. - Mike

I did not make these in one afternoon. But I have 3 more roughed out in one afternoon. Sorry! I misunderstood! Either way, it's really impressive!

Mike,
Thanks for asking me to undertake these. You have inspired me to try my hand on a few more different projects. I though of one idea I did not mention in my last PM to you. I could use my technics I learned making these and make a full size 1:1 scale Allspark Cube from the movie Transformers for my kids room.
I was really into art when I was in high school but never pursued it. But like Harry had said in another thread "Life happened".
Thanks again, Pat

Not bad for my second attempt at making these.

Here are my new stones, I lightened up on the lines a little bit to make them not as white. I think I'm going to try something different the next time I make these, I'm going to try a scratched version. The screen version has scratched lines in them. I think if these where objects of worship they would have carved the lines into them. Early man has been napping stone spear heads since the Mammoths time. Stones 6-10

Just found this one on eBay. Very reasonable Buy-It-Now price. I'm very tempted. Unfortunately I'm saving up for a new fedora. Damn, I wish I could get both. Oh, well. C'est la vie. -Josh

And I just got mine, excellent, excellent work RF and faultless packaging. A quails egg would have survived in that cocoon of bubblewrap!
