Not really no. Dye's are designed to go darker than what ever the color currently is. You would have to find some way to "bleach out" the leather and then dye it brown. I don't know how you'd go about doing that without destroying the leather though. Quite the conundrum.

Dye, no. Paint, maybe yes... But you should talk with someone experienced with leather, because you need something specific for it, or the paint will simply chip off... But the best option is to buy a pair of brown boots. I hope it helps

True. Doesn't Meltonian make some type of spray-on color or something? I thought someone in the Lounge used it on a Webley holster a while back.

I found some info and a web address for ya, but use it at your own risk: www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53624I found several posts about soaking them in bleach, alcohol or both. It may be worth a shot for ya. Fyi: I did a google search for "lighten leather". Hope it helps. If your not sweatin possibly destroying em, then it might be a decent experiment. I think Ramiel probably has the right idea though and ya might want to just buy boots. Let me know how it turns out either way. I'm intrigued.
