Well, I just thought I'd post this in here. It looks like the game should be released May 29th, 2007. Edios has gone back and redone the original Tomb Raider game using the new game engine created for Tomb Raider : Legend. They've also added some new stuff to the gameplay as well. So this is basically like a brand new game. Since they "rebooted" her origin in Legend it will be interesting to see what they've gone back and changed as far as the story goes in the original game. Here's a link to some more info. www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventure/tombraider10thanniversaryedition/media.html?sid=6166350&autoplay=6166350&om_act=convert&om_clk=mostpopI just hope they make the game available for the X-Box 360 or the Wii.

hey harry, do you have any idea if they aregoing to make it for PSP? Yes, they will have it for the PSP and the home PC. Still no word on if or when it will come out for the X-Box 360, Wii or PS3. The game looks really good considering it's a remake of the first game.

The original Tomb Raider is one of my all time favorite games. I may end up buying a used PS2 just so I can play this game. The gameplay, the environments, the music. Best ever. I can't wait. I wish Lucasfilm would take a few hints from the Tomb Raider series, and make an Indiana Jones game that is comparable to the first T.R. game. Indy is perfect for the environments that lara has explored. Make the games more quest oriented, not fighting the entire time. Just when needed. 'Blues

Well, hopefully the new Indy game will be like that. The footage that was shown last year seemed promising.
Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb was supposed to be closer to a "Tomb Raider" type of game but from what I saw of it I think they fell short.
I wish I was in a position to help design an Indy game. I'd merge the game play of the Tomb Raider series with the game play from the old Indy games like Fate of Atlantis.
The whole game would have multiple quests and you could choose which adventure to take. So the game would have multiple replay value once you went through it the first time. It would also be pretty open ended as well. You could collect artifacts to sell to Marcus to earn cash for the much larger quest. You could travel back and forth across the globe using different modes of transportation......maybe even hiring Jock to fly you somewhere at some point. You'd also be able to search Indy's office and house for information and gear to help you on your quests.
Another thing they could do is added chapters to the game by adding downloads to something like the X-Box Live or any of other next-gen systems depending on what you owned. Each has their own Internet support.
