Ever since the change in jobs (and lack of income that followed), my family and I have been absent at the local movie theater. It's been one of the many ways we have cut back to make ends meet. But, for Christmas... we received some movie passes as a gift and have enjoyed using them.
Yesterday, we saw "Night At The Museum" with some of the passes and enjoyed it. It was good natured fun, had a nice pace to it, and a good balance of action and comedy. Has anyone else seen this movie yet, and did you like it as well?

I thought the film looked cute and something the whole family might enjoy. I'm in almost the same position you are in and my wife and I haven't been to the movies in awhile. I still want to see the new James Bond movie and I haven't been able to do that yet either. My wife and I also got movie passes for a Christmas gift from my dad along with some money. So maybe she and I will go see this movie sometime soon. I know she doesn't want to see Bond and there really isn't much out there at the moment.

It was great! Owen Wilson is a riot. He is the spiten image of my 3 year old!

I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed it, because it resembled my childhood fantasies so well. The only problem I had was that the British comic in me wanted less childish humor and more history jokes.

Wow, this movie kinda got a pummeling by the critics but it's already made over 200 million! My wife and I are taking my oldest this Saturday to see it. We both have free movie passes and they expire at the end of the month so were going to use them. We figured he might enjoy the film. There isn't anything scary in it is there?

I don't recall anything scary in it at all... just a fun movie. I am also one of those people that never reads movie reviews, almost always disagrees with what the critics have to say, and actually want to know as little about the storyline as possible. I can tell from a trailer whether a movie will be appealing to me or not. My opinions about it from there, I prefer to create myself. I don't like knowing anything that's supposed to happen or if someone thought Mr. Actor did a poor job of portraying his character. I know some people live and breathe by reviews, but that's just not me. Ken

Ok, cool.......I saw some stuff in the trailer and I wasn't sure.
I rarely ever listen to the critics or even agree with them. A lot of the time they just show favoritism toward certain actors and directors anyway.
I just noticed with this film that on one of the websites I frequent they seemed to be really down on this film and I couldn't figure out why. It looked funny to me. Ben Stiller always makes me laugh.
