That was a classic Sci-Fi movie. I loved it and still to this day I wish I had a Delorean. Those gullwing doors are the coolest doors i've ever seen on a car. Anyways, whats everyone elses thoughts on the trilogy?

I always enjoyed the movies...though the first is still my favorite of the 3. I'll pull out the boxed set every few years and watch 'em all. The DeLorean sure looks slick, but my tastes in vintage autos leans more to the 30's & 40's, personally. I wouldn't mind driving a DMC around for a weekend, though. Favorite character of the trilogy? That would have to be Griff Tannen, from BTTF2 ;D -GCR

Back to the Future is probably my favorite movie ever... period. I haven't watched it in a few months, though. I've always wanted a DeLorean. Probably won't get one, but I can dream, right? I do have a collection of die cast DMC and BTTF time machines in several different scales. I've even customized one from BTTF Part 1 to make it look more like the prop car. Glad to see this tread.

they recently showed the entire trilogy on ITV2 all this week on consecutive nights i love the first two best, but the third one was a bit slower and doesnt have as many gags. even though its the other way around as Marty has to rescue the Doc instead of the Doc rescuing Marty. i love seeing all the changes in history like twin pines mall becoming lone pine mall etc I always wondered how we never see the Tannen family member linking Biff to Griff, we know Griff is the grandson? but what about Biff's own son in 2015? theres a generation gap that was never explored there! I have only ever seen a Delorean once in real life, in a carnival in Kent back in 1990, and dressed up to look like the time machine ( very badly dressed up for that matter ) anyone noticed any continuity errors? i noticed that when the car is flying, in 1955 the first shots of it flying there are no green lights flashing underneath it, but during the hoverboard/car chase the green lights are working fine! I want a hoverboard.... oh yes and at Collectormania 4 i saw the Sports Almanac prop on display, which was cool ( shame it wasn't real )

He he... gullwing doors - ive got a Eagle SS / Sterling sportscar with gullwing doors - everybody can build one of these on a old volkswagen beetle :-) Its a glasfiber body so it wont be bad i n the years in the future..... its cheap in parts and maintance.... you can put in many different engines ! Maybe that would be enough DeLorean for you ? KC Lasse
