I was wondering if there were any fans of the 1960's TV series "The Wild Wild West" around here. The show was part western, part spy thriller, and part sci-fi fantasy, which made it very unique. I always enjoyed watching the many adventures of Robert Conrad as James T. West and Ross Martin as Artemus Gordon. This is a series I would love to be able to show my kids on DVD too. It just seemed to me that someone else here might have enjoyed the show as well. They even wore some snazzy hats from time to time! So, anyone else like this show? Ken

Sure did watch this one growing up. It was a great show in it's day. Although I can't say I have watched in many years now.

Yeah, this was another one my dad watched (along with the original Star Trek) while I was growing up. I used to watch it with him all the time as a kid.
I loved the beginning of the show and the little "cliffhangers" they would have at every commercial break.
The show was a lot of fun. I was hoping the big screen version would be like the old show but they screwed it up and it wasn't very good. I think Kevin Cline did a good job but Will Smith shouldn't have played James West. I like Will Smith but West was supposed to be like James Bond and Will Smith just couldn't pull that off. I think someone like George Clooney or something might have been a better choice for the role.
Ah, well........least we have the original. Don't they still run these on TV Land?
