That's some cool customization work, Josh. You and your bro really have a knack for that kind of stuff. The re-painted hat definitely looks more "Indy brown" to me. And overall the figure looks great. Just one question... What the hell is up with the decapitated Indy head? ;D

Looks great. My question is: what's with the Dominic Purcell (he plays Lincoln (Linc) Burrows in Prison Break) look-alike Indy in the background?

Looks great. My question is: what's with the Dominic Purcell (he plays Lincoln (Linc) Burrows in Prison Break) look-alike Indy in the background? Are you talking about that custom Indiana Jones? Because it's a custom head sculpt by Jim Maddox. Until Sideshow's it had the best likeness to Ford. It's not professionally painted, though. It's actually just an old paintjob with repainted eyes. We could never really get it right. Here's a better picture. The head is the least accurate part of the figure. The hat is removable and not very accurate either. BUT! My brother practically sewed the whole outfit. -Josh

I forgot to mention that I received my Sideshow Indy Tuesday. I've started the customization process. I haven't gotten very far. So far he has a Webley, a Webley holster, and a LC-colored web belt. I still need to resulpt and paint the hat, paint the jacket, possibly dye the pants slightly pink, replace the bag strap, and most importantly repaint the hair and put some grey in the beard/growth. In the last two pics I used a Clark Kent body with the extra head, and then the hatted head. With Medicom Henry (a separate thread for him soon) Clark Kent body BTW, in the first picture Indy's holding a real kangaroo hide whip (1/6 scale of course). I couldn't get him to hold either of the Sideshow whips. -Josh

Nice looking Pedestal and Belloq figure. I've heard that the idol is suprisingly heavy for it's small size. Mike

How do you like the Belloq? There has been a lot of criticism. But there was a lot of that when Indy came out, too.

those posed shots are awesome for the last crusade model, indy should have painted details for the scars gained during the Tank showdown

those posed shots are awesome for the last crusade model, indy should have painted details for the scars gained during the Tank showdown Thanks. I had thought of doing that, or having Ben do that, rather. But here are some shots I snapped today of Ben's Raiders Indy and my Last Crusade Indy. My LC Indy with the flash Without Notice the difference in color of the pants between the two figures. We dyed the LC pants so that they would better resemble the pinkish hue of Harrison's on screen trousers. And here's a picture of my unaltered Medicom Henry, Sr. and Junior (before we dyed the pants). I'm quite proud of Ben's repaints. -Josh

Here's a work in progress, mostly finished Temple of Doom Indiana Jones. If you're gonna do a "Temple" Indy, he must be from the rope bridge scene! Recipe: Head is Sideshow recast to allow an attached neck. The hat was also recast after being altered to match the TOD/LC style pinch. The body is a BBI G3.5. The shirt is a heavily tailored and torn up Relic Hunter shirt. The pants are DID John Coleman. The belt is from Relic Hunter. The gunbelt is custom, as is the whip holder. The holster is from Relic Hunter. The boots are Hasbro, repainted. The whip is a cord painted and weathered with custom turk knot and pummel knot. The bag is custom, sewn using the Sideshow as reference, with custom strap. And the sword is from the Relic Hunter, as well. If you chose not to read the description, please take in the pictures, for each is worth approx 998 words. -Josh

I wanted a new avatar, so I decided to photoshop a picture I took a few months ago. I've also included the original screen I tried to replicate. Now I have a new avatar, even though it's kinda small. BUT! Here you can see the full resolution pic. -Josh
