Well, I went to my local Toy's R Us tonight and I decided to check out the Lego section to see if they had any Indy stuff and to my shock they actually did......and the shelves were labled. Which means they've got a periment home on the shelves and they won't be mixed with any of the other Lego sets.... From what I could tell from the tags they're carrying The Truck Chase set, The Lost Tomb set and The Temple set. They had two of the Temple sets and those were $69. I WISH I would have had the cash because I would have bought it. Instead I grabbed the Lost Tomb set. The only had one and it was $20.99. I can't remember the last time I played with Legos let alone touched any of their current stuff. I have to say this is the coolest thing I've ever seen. My kids and I sat there and put the set together. They love it. I can't wait to get the rest..... Here are some pics I took.

Well, so much for waiting until Christmas! I'm kidding... as I know you must have been excited to actually find some of the sets in the stores. Isn't the release date in January? So much for that too, if it is. Congrats on scoring one of them at a reasonable price and thanks for posting the great pics of the set! Ken

Ken Well, with these you can't wait.......If you see them you've got to grab them. I was lucky to get this. ;D I'm *hoping* I can find a way to purchase the Temple set IF they even have them when I go back. My plan is to get rid of my different collections and stick with just Indy stuff from now on. So I'm keeping my old Indy stuff plus buying all the new stuff that comes out.

Congrats, Harry. That set looks fantastic all put together.
With the help of Agent5, I have 3 of the 4 sets ready to go under the tree on Christmas Eve. All I need is the Truck Chase, now. What's cool, is ever since I showed the Lego pics to my son(when they were first hyping them), he was very excited about getting them. When they started being filtered out to the misses a week or so ago, There was no way I was going to pay triple for them on Ebay, just to get them in time for Christmas.
I told him I would send a special email to Santa(Ya know, Santa is all high tech now, lol), asking if his elves could build these toys in time, all the while crossing my fingers in hopes of aquiring them.
Well, Agent5 helped me out big time, and snagged me two of the sets in his hometown. I received them today, and also found the Temple Escape set at my own Toys R Us store today as well. Now I can't wait to see the look on my sons face when he sees his wish to Santa came true.
Thanks 5!! Boo Yaa!! 'Blues

Besides the Lost Tomb set the only other set I'm seeing at the moment is the Temple set and that's just to much for me right now. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm to sit the Lost Tomb set out for display. I let my oldest son play with the set tonight. My youngest is still to little to leave him with it alone. He has a tendency to make things like this vanish really fast. The kids friggin David Copperfield. If he's eating the stuff then I certainly am not going to go hunting for it later......In my mind it's gone for good.

That's pretty cool Harry. They haven't started selling them over here in sand-land yet. If only I could get my 5y/o girl interested in anything not pink.

Well, I wouldn't even try Kap. Just get the stuff for yourself. That's what I do. ;D I let the kids play with the set and stuff but it's basically mine. Although, now that they're slowly showing interest in the character and the movies I may have to start buying double of everything because they will want their own toys. Between the gear and the merchandise coming out the love for this character is going to destroy me financially. ;D

Sweet Lego gear Harry, But what the heck is that in the white with the torch??? Thats the ugliest Indy chick I've ever seen...It is an Indy chick right? It looks kinda like Gene Simmons from KISS.

It's supposed to be Marion. I don't think it looks that bad actually. The problem is she has two faces and in the photos the "frightened look" face tends to look like she's got a beard or something. The "normal face" looks much better in my opinion. I've never seen an "attractive" female Lego figure including the Slave Leia one they have out. To be honest I'd find that quite disturbing if I did see a sexy Lego figure. These are basically for kids.

Hey Harry, this is weird. I think they packed me the wrong head for the Indy in the Temple set. My son has 3 LEGO Indy's now, but one is a bit of an oddball. Maybe you, or someone here can help identify the head they gave me.
It has blue eyes, and lines of definition on the cheeks. The real distinguishing characteristic is a scar across the right eye. It's a black line, so I assume it's a scar. Any guesses??

It wouldn't be a Lego Anakin head would it? That's the only thing I can think of at the moment. So far so good with my Indy stuff. The only thing odd I've noticed is that I keep getting extra parts.....like spare guns and other little odds and ends... Thanks to a friend of mine I now have the "Truck Chase" set and the "Motor Bike" set.......Plus, my wife found the "Motor Bike" set at Wal-Mart and gave it to my oldest son for Christmas... So the only set I need now is the big "Temple Escape" set.
