I won't know how well I'll like them until I seem them in person. I'm not sure how well I like the articulation on the two Indy figures....especially the one without the jacket. It looks like his legs are stuck in a weird pose... I am excited though and I can't wait to these in the stores.

I also noticed that the gunbelt buckles are square. I hope they catch that before production starts.

At that size I doubt they'd even care. Now something like a 12 inch figure I'd expect it to be more accurate. I have a feeling once this Indy stuff hits the shelves it's going to disappear really fast... I was over at Toy's "R" Us tonight and there were nothing but a bunch of mild aged men over near the CARS toys just going threw everything trying to find the "rare" cars so they can sell them.

this will be just like the sw figs from hasbro with the weird faces and poses.
They look fine and accurate in the promo pics but once they hit the shelfs you'll need glasses to remotely find any accuracy to Harrison in it.

I tell you what, ...the fedora looks really great from what I can see. Straight sided with a tight front pinch. Nice wide brim. Someone is doing their homework. 'Blues

In defense of the little Kenner figures I have to say they did a pretty good job on his gear too. The only thing was the hat seemed a little small. The jacket was accurate, the shoes looked like aldens and if you took the robe off of the "Map Room Indy" you could see the details in his shirt. I think they even got the gun belt right.. I think these new figures might be a little bigger. They seem to look a little bigger.... I'm not expecting the regular figures to look much like Ford. They never do. Look at all of the Han Solo figures out there. Each one is different. The only figures I'm expecting to look like Ford are the ones made by SideShow Collectibles. I think I'm just going to ask for money this Christmas because this Indy stuff should be coming out around the beginning of 08.

Actually Harry, take a look at the original Kenner Indy jacket. It has a belt on the lower back. The Disney figure does have a pretty accurate jacket, though. 'Blues

Why has Marion got a wok? It's a marketing ploy to get more of the Asian community interested in the character. Plus, you know how MSG is supposed to be such a killer.... it could make a better weapon than they thought. Ken

I forgot about this thread! Yeah, Kenner made some pretty nice 1:18 Indy figures back in the day. 100%? No, but what do you expect from the sources back in '81-'82? Now, I definitely expect to see at least 92% accuracy in the new Hasbro figures. Especially if they use info from the Indy Lounge. ;D -Josh
