Some of you may be suprised at the Origin of the Hat we all Love so much. "With the distinctive front pinch and wide, floppy and pliable rim the fedora is a distinctive hat indeed. The actual name ‘Fedora’ came about due to a stage play which was running in 1882. The main character, Princess Fedora Romazova, wore a hat just like it, thus it became known as a Fedora." Please read this link for a little more info: ezinearticles.com/?Fedora-Hat---The-History-and-Origin&id=86936Cheers, G-MANN

That is interesting. Though I've known about it for YEARS! ::evil laughter:: (Alright months then! Days?) I'm kind of tired of posting info on COW about these things, cause if I don't post my entire resume and life's history and boast like crazy, info gets missed time and again. I'm really, really tired of trying to participate. But it's in my signature line there (in very small print.) The actress's name is Sarah Bernhardt. She would have played "Fedora". It's her quote I'm using there. "Life engenders life......"

Hehe, yes, I remember Tone telling me about this. So basically, it all started with a woman wearing a fedora!!! How cool is that!
