Sideshow will produce Indiana Jones collectibleswww.theraider.net/news/fullstory_merchandise.php?id=272 Sideshow Collectibles, one of the largest exhibitors at Comic-Con, has revealed to the Los Angeles Times that they have struck a new licensing deal with Lucasfilm to produce collectibles from all four Indiana Jones films! "Anyone crazy enough can now stick a life-sized bust of Indy right in the middle of the living room."
Many people alredy assume Sideshow will release a Premium Format Indiana Jones statue (18" tall). And hopefully they will also produce 1:6 scale figures of Indiana Jones and other characters from the films. which would be fantastic as Sideshow has already produced some great looking Star Wars figures in that same1:6 scale!
And if Sideshow Collectibles will indeed release a life-sized bust of Indiana Jones, then I hope it'll look at least as good as the Indy bust sculptor Howard S shows on his website. www.howardsstudios.com/adventure/indy/www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=0Ken

Can I ask why you're always linking TheRaider.net? Are you a member over there? I'm not asking to be a jerk, I'm seriously just wondering. I've heard nothing but bad press from members who frequent that site due to the harsh environment created by certain people over there.

I think he's just pulling Indy news where ever he can find it. I don't think there's any other reason behind it. I'm excited about the Sideshow announcement. It's about frigging time we get another shot at some good Indy figures.

If you are referring to the message board over there, I am not a member and never visit it. I really only have time to visit/contribute to one place... and it's right here. The website itself however, is a fantastic Indiana Jones world online. It's chock full of great content and is a fine source for Indy news as well. I check there daily for anything I may have missed or, often before I begin my own search. When I find something there first, I always try to be fair and refer people to where I saw it. When I come upon something via one of my news searches first, I just list it as such. Ken
