I'm not sure if some of you have seen this already or not. Sideshow Collectibles is going to unveil a new line in 10 days and counting and some people are speculating that they got the rights to make Indiana Jones stuff including 12 inch figures. I'm hoping that their right and they did get the rights to produce Indy figures. I love the detail of their work and I'm betting Indy would look fantastic. Here's the link to the countdown so you can keep an eye on it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=holidayguide06_unwrap

I did see it, but was waiting for them to make some sort of anouncement about anything involving Indy before posting something on it. Thanks for wasting our time PH.
;D Only kidding! It will be nice to see the character kept alive in any way possible. Hopefully they aren't waiting on news of Indy 4 to decide what they do.

;D Well, I wasn't sure if some of "us" from over here had heard about it. It's been posted over at COW for a few days and I was waiting to see if someone would mention it here but it never happened. I just didn't want anyone to miss out if this "rumor" does turn out to be true. I'm not really into the statues / busts that they do but I do want a new 12 inch figure of Indy if they make one. I missed out on getting that Toy's McCoy figure when it first hit and I've been kicking myself every since. Maybe IF this is an Indy line their going to offer it is because of something to do with Indy 4. We've got the new game hitting in 07 so it's not a stretch to think that all of this could be Lucas building up to some big marketing campaign for Indy 4. Ofcourse......this may also turn out to be a new line of Smurf figures too.

Yeah, with the new game coming out next year and all the fuss regarding Indy 4 being ready to film.... it would really be a shame if they corkscrew themselves out of a great build up in public interest. On the other hand, there is the whole... Harrison is getting too old and how will they deal with that, aspect it that makes us nervous. But, that's another can of worms. Ken

I have a feeling something is going to be announced early next year on Indy 4. I'm getting this vibe again that there is more going on behind the scenes then what we've been lead to believe. If this Sideshow stuff turns out to be Indy I'd take that as a good sign. As far as Ford's age goes. For me atleast the film has to be made within the next year or two. If it isn't then I'd say drop it or go ahead with a new actor for the sequels or make prequels. I'd hate to see the character just left in limbo.

Sooo - is this just speculation on your part about Sideshow making Indy stuff or have you heard something?
I have quite a few of the Sideshow figures ranging from Ash to Jason to 007...I am still waiting on my Terminator 2 figure that I pre-ordered back in FEBRUARY!!!! Almost ready to write that on off...

What? I think they nailed the detail for an Indy IV action figure. It includes really cool accessories like: Action Cane Pill Box Medically prescribed Aldens And a neat, pull-cord photo album that has Indy's dad giving helpful guidance advice with over 15 different sayings. ;D

It's not Indy. Turns out they got the rights to produce "World of Warcraft" stuff.

I saw that but I don't think that has anything to do with another line besides the WoW stuff. I think it's a contest of some kind.
What a waste....stick a fork in me I'm done. I guess them getting the Indy line is just to good to be true.

I don't know. Lucas not licensing a figure for Indy (with all the speculation of Indy IV looming about in reviews, gossip, etc.) doesn't seem likely Indy IV's coming.

I've seen the picture of the huge Indy statue thats about £1000, and the clothes are "real" IE made of the exact same materials as the genuine costume, even the whip, belt, satchel, hat, everything is a scale replica of the real thing, he stands about 2 feet tall and is standing in a similar pose to the Raiders poster, the jacket is removable and the details on the face is super high quality.
it's apparently being released early next year or something, I'l have to go back to forbidden planet to get the dates etc
