Nice collection there, Harry. I have a bunch of the old Kenner figs as well. Wish I still had my 12" Indy, though. I sold it years ago for $75 mint in box,....back then it was actually a good price. Now I'm kicking myself. 'Blues

Great collection Harry! Suprisingly, I have never owned any of the Indy toys. I never really considered getting the Indy toys, I prefer to collect books and "life size" items. (gear, props)

I love the figure with the big furry pimp hat! I always wanted that Well of Souls playset when I was a kid. I remember it cost $14.99 at my local store. If you really think about it, that's kind of pricey for 1982.

Nice Harry.
Except for the Pimp Hat ;D
I never had any of the toys either. Mostly the gear and props. I have the Paperback books now too.
Cheers, G-MANN

The 12 inch Indy figures hat has got to be the worst thing I've ever seen and I even thought that back when I first got it. That's real felt they used too. I "bashed" it right before I took the shots and that was the best I could get it to look. ;D
Encase anyone was wondering I do own the Cairo Swordsman as well but I cut up his robe to make a jacket for another figure when I was a kid so I didn't take his pic. He's still almost brand new and I have the weapons for him as well. If anyone owns the figure they know under the robe that for some reason the figure is wearing some kind of "speedo / diaper" and I didnt' want to frighten the children. ;D
That is the headpiece to the Staff or Ra in the one shot. The staff itself is in the box with my map room playset or the Well of Souls.....I hope. I believe the gold staff that Belloq came with should been in there as well.
I also still own most of the cards for each of the figures as well. As you can see my 12 inch Indiana Jones box for the most part is still intact.
I took a shot of "Cairo Indy" without his robe to show off his shirt underneath. I never paid any attention to how detailed the shirt actually is before getting into gear collecting. They got everything right. The regular Indy figures jacket even has the straps on the side.
I don't know if I'll ever sell any of this stuff or not........Like Stefana I'm mostly interested now in the "real" Indy stuff and not the toys but I'm guessing I'll still keep it and probably sell of my other toys before that......if I don't give them to my kids.

I still own all of my old Star Wars stuff including the vehicles and I just saw they came out with a new version of the Imperial Walkers and it's $89! Now I still have my original one and that lit up and had sound effects and this new version doesn't.....Plus my old one looks just like the new toy. Stuff like that just amazes me.

Pretty sexy stuff! You don't see many complete ToD Indy's anymore. Not a bad figure. I always wanted Mola Ram, alas haven't found one that isn't all smashed yet.

Thanks, Ape. I still have the card for the TOD Indy figure as well. He's basically brand new. I never cared much for the figure when I was a kid. It just didn't look like Indy to me. I never even bothered to look for the other figures. Although I do remember the stores shelves overflowing with Mola Ram and the Temple Guard guy figures.

oh my gawd they're the ORIGINALS!! Marion looks kinda... poorly doesn't she? they never existed in British toyshops, but i remember seeing reviews of the originals in toy magazines last year, and there was a truck avaliable, and i did see the Indy in nazi disguise once at a convention for about £200 i have on DVD at home a fanfilm, an animation called Indytoys made with those figures, a great mini adventure done with stop motion animation. plus somewhere i got a link to a guy who made his own Indy figure by customising a Han Solo figure that actually looks rather good.
