No, not a sacred rock from a river...a regular rock, a rough one. I used a reddish rock that I found at work to do the elbows on my Wested -- it seemed to work like sandpaper, only not as abrasive. Anyone else tried a rock??

as long as you're not wearing it when people are asked to throw rocks at you never thought of that! i did mention tying a jacket to the tow bar of a car and dragging it down the street at one point. I know that Deborah Nadoolman used a wire brush and wire wool, when i got my accurate jacket it was already ten years old and looked like it'd been on a hundred adventures. to dust up the hat and jacket further i used talcum powder rubbed into it
