Yes.... I joined the dark side. And boy am I loving it. When the jacket arrived I was blown away by the attention to detail. (I will post more detailed pics later). When it came, my 44T was too big. So I completely soaket it. Then I commited a Gearhead "sin". I put it in the dryer on HIGH HEAT!!!! Now it fits perfectly! Out of box (with and without flash respectively): And after my little dryer treatment and an alcohol rub-down: By the way...all pics were taken with an untucked t-shirtI guess a size T does work with untucked t-shirts...which is a big plus in my book. I have a Wested Auth Lamb and Goat and a Todd's cowhide..... I'm thinking about selling them now. That's how much I like this jacket. Also, the customer service was excellent. They were polite on the phone, and when they couldn't answer my question, they said they would call me back...AND THEY ACTUALLY DID and within one hour too!!! They even called me up after it arrived to ask if I was satisfied with it. Awesome company.

Congratulations Kap It's a beauty. G&B does have about the BEST customer service I have dealt with. I have gotten the After Delivery call every time I have ordered one. Once you've tried the rest, get the Best. G&B !Cheers, G-MANN

Wow... you are a brave sort. You put a brand spanking new Expedition right into the dryer with high heat, then rubbed it down with alchohol! I'm not sure there are many people willing to do that! However... as expected, the results are wonderful! The jacket is already looking broken in and well worn. All that's left is the water soaking trick and your through. Only kidding, it looks great and I'm glad you are happy with it. They really have their act together at G&B/Flightsuits ans it shows. I'm looking forward to seeing this baby on a few adventures next. Congrats, Ken

I concur on everything Kap said about the G&B customer support dept. They are the best for doing what they say and saying what they mean. I am close to showing off my almost 2 week old 44T Goat too. Congrats to you Kap. And yes, it is very easy to instantly fall in love with this jacket, especially after having one each of the other contenders (excluding the fine looking and great reviewed Todd's) and some experience with each in the customer service, fit, and SA and durability.....

Congrats, Kaplan!! Welcome to the DarkSeal Side! They are fantastic jackets, aren't they?? One thing that bothers me about mine, and it seems to be doing the same thing in yours, is the liner tends to creep out around the zipper. That drives me nuts. 'Blues

This jacket is different than the Wested and Wings in that the zipper is not faced. Is that what you are talking about?

Thanks everybody!!! Congrats, Kaplan!! Welcome to the DarkSeal Side! They are fantastic jackets, aren't they?? One thing that bothers me about mine, and it seems to be doing the same thing in yours, is the liner tends to creep out around the zipper. That drives me nuts. 'Blues I think mine is only doing that because when I shrunk the jacket, the liner stayed the same. I have sewed a couple of pleats in it to keep that from happening, but I may have to bring it to a tailor to really fix the liner. But overall...it's a minor inconvenience.

That jacket looks perfect. You were brave to put it in the dryer right away and rub it down but no guts, no glory. Now, you've got the glory.

Thanks guys! I'm thinking about taking it to a taylor to take care of some of the excess liner.

Hey, does any other Expo owners have the problem of the back panel "puffing" out at the bottom? Mine seems to not lay up tight against my back belt line the way my Wested does. I have seen this in many other expo photo post, and wondered if it was a design flaw OR just a matter of break-in?

Cowboy,
Mine rests just fine however it is over a year old. Could the straps on yours possibly need to be tightened at all?
Cheers, G-MANN

My opinion is the same as G-Mann's on this one, as I have not noticed that happening with mine. One of the first things I did was reconfigure the straps to face backwards and tighten them up to a comfortable position. I really think that might help you too.

My pic might be a bad example of this effect.
