So, after seeing Ken's new expedition, I picked up the phone to call G&B merely to ask about size. The next thing I know, I am placing an order for an Expedition  So, as I gave my Visa to the salesman (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE) he checked and found out that they were out of my size and there would be a 4-5 week wait .  There was the sound of an old LP needle scratching an old and obnoxious ABBA record as I came back to my senses. What was I doing??? I was most certain that I wanted another go with Wested and the new improved LC in HH.. Now, what in the Hey-Ho-Alina am I to do? I am hard on clothes so the G&B looks really tempting, BUT, I do love my Wested and just wanted to tweak somethings I wanted to change on my first wested, mainly length of sleeves, back panel AND Chest Size..... I am so confused. I am puzzled and perplexed as to which brand I must order prior to the big fall rush.... Comments please  At least I have my new hat to take my mind off of it for a while. Someone please help me, I am becoming obsessed!!!! * Please note the extreme Satire as spelled out above ;D |

Ken told me he was quoted a 3 week wait for his and his arrived in just under 2 weeks. I think they state a longer wait just in case.

The wait Cowboy originally quoted doesn't sound to bad at all.....Some people order their jackets and they don't see them for months......At least you know from everyone else that own these that the customer service is top notch.......I've never had any place call and confirm I've gotten my merchandise that I ordered. So that's a big plus for them in my book.  |

Well, tell her because this is not only a purchase but an investment and that you need to make the right choice or you could loose your sanity.......just imagine if you spent a lot of money on a jacket, hat or whip that wouldn't last very long......you'd loose your mind.....maybe even give up the Indy stuff.......One day she might walk in and find you standing in a corner babbling incoherently and dressed up like Little Orphan Annie......It's a RISK you can't afford to take. Our advice could literally save your life! |

My vote is wait for the G&B. The problem I have with Wested is that you have to get a lot of them because you are never completely satisfied with how it turns out. Don't get me wrong, I love my westeds, but there is something I would change on both of them if I had the chance. Besides, I called G&B too  But I chickened out because of the price, and the fact that I already have three jackets. |

Cowboy -- go for the Expedition, it'll be worth the wait -- that is providing the off-the-rack size fits you. In this hobby, five weeks doesn't seem very long.
