John, I think the color of the new liner looks great against the darker leather. It actually has the same undertones as the distressed areas of the jacket. Very cool and improved! Ken

Thanks everyone. Yes I am completely satisfied in how the jacket not only looks but how it feels when I have it on. One last thanks to Prof.Wex. for sending me this diamond in the rough. Here is a better pic of the liner. Cheers, G-MANN

Thanks Ken,
You are correct about the Undertones in the leather matching the liner.
If this had been the first Indy jacket that I ever owned, I might have never bought all the other ones.
Yeah RIGHT ;D
Cheers, G-MANN

Greetings. I was checking out some older posts on U.S. Wings as I'm thinking of ordering one and came across this entry. What a beauty of jacket! Looks like the new Tony Nowak 'Raiders' jacket (and I here Peter will soon unveil his new 'Raiders' in a similar shrunken lamb). This old jacket was somehow ahead of its time.

This is still one of my two favorite jackets. Along with my Expedition. It's tough as could be too.
I'm looking forward to the Wested shrunken lamb also.
Cheers, John

G-Mann, how does this jacket compare with current U.S. Wings jackets? Is it pretty much the same cut? I always hear that U.S. Wings are a tad on the big size, but your jacket looks perfect.

Garzo, I have to say about the same. This jacket is a size Small and I normally wear a Large. Although I wish this was just a little bit bigger it's kind of a tight fit. Cheers, John

I just picked up a US Wings Indy jacket... and I love it! It is my new favorite jacket... too bad it is just way too hot to wear it right now.

Hey jnicktem and modelmaker4,
any chance of you guys posting some pics of the new jackets? I've ordered a US Wings limited edition cowhide and would love to see some photos of other folks' jackets and how they fit. Strange, there is so much information on this site and on other sites about Wested, G&B and the new Tony Nowak jackets, but for some reason, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info US Wings. . .
