this is indeed a Chinese made jacket. I'm thinking Peter should look into where they are getting the skins. This leather would ROCK in a Wested. 'Blues The leather on US Wings imports is the same US leather used in the Made-in-USA jackets. The Chinese ones are just assembled in China.

While I can't say you'll never find it, Pitfall, I haven't seen it in over 4 years since it's been released at Disney Japan. Of course, you'd be bidding against me so you would lose. Sorry, but that's just the reality of it. I did see the TOD shirt like this on Ebay before.

Even if I did see something like that or the TOD shirt you mentioned I wouldn't be able to bid on it anyway. Until I start bringing home a paycheck my hands are tied. By the way do you know if these were only released in the Disney Japan theme park or did they off these type of shirts here in the states as well?

Very nice looking jacket, profwex. I especially like those striations all over the leather. Looks very much like the Raiders jacket. The only thing that really bothers me about the Wings jacket(s), is the gigantic zippers. God forbid you pick your kid up while wearing it,...you'll "chainsaw" through them, lol. They are really rough, sharp edged zippers. 'Blues

Both of those Wings are really good looking jackets guys. I would wear either one of those proudly. Wex, How old is yours? How is your Wings breaking in Aeris? Cheers, G-MANN

Prof. Wex, Why can't they all be made out of really cool looking, wrinkly, worn in, almost elephant hide looking leather like that one has? Ken

What? You think my US Wings should be breaking in differently somehow? Maybe funny-like? It says "Protocol" on the inside and it somehow makes you laugh? Is that it? My "US WINGS" with the Protocol tag AMUSES you? Help me understand so I can make things more easy or difficult for you in the next sixty, oh - twenty seconds. What is it about the "breaking in" that you mean? Did it break? Is that it? My Protocol US Wings must somehow break in cheaper than the others? It's inferior? Is that what you mean? This jacket I get from a friend out of the spirit of Adventure and you're going to ask me "How it's breaking in?" As if an update is needed for this crowd? A bunch of Indiana Jones fans interested in an Indiana Jones jacket style? BAH! I don't see the relevance..... But just to entertain you all I will say this: It's the worst SA jacket there is out there! Just misses on too many marks. But damn if I don't LOVE it as an everyday Indy hybrid! As you can see from the above pics, it is breaking in quite well, sir. And thanks again for kicking this in my direction. I would not have paid $300 excess bucks for it but I can't fault anyone who's lucked into picking one of these up at the clearance price! This has fast become one of my favorite jackets even with its shortcomings. Indy? No. Cool everyday hybrid? YOU FRIGGIN BET! In other words, it's doing quite well. (I wonder what would happen if I KT'd it through the washer a time or two.) Though, I kinda like it as it is at the moment.

Thanks, G-Mann. Had a weird winter over here and thought we'd lost a good part of the garden. Everything's sprung back nicely, though. Thanks!

Wow, Profwex your jacket looks amazing!! Why can't wested get some leather like that intstead of their predistressed hides??? Aeris, your's doesn't look too shabby either! I feel my Wested goat looks far too polite in comparison.
