Thanks to one of the good fellows here, I got my hands on one of the USWings, discounted jackets, nicely made, just big for the size that's on it. This is a soft goatskin, Made in the USA. The only thing that's a bit dodgy is the YKK zipper, it is obviously a lesser grade than on a Wested, very sharp and scratchy. Oh and I take some of it back about US/UK zips, it does feel odd it being on the US side. For reference I usually wear a 38 or 40 Wested Indy, Small WOW, and a Medium Doctor Who with no need for any mods for the sleeves. The USWings small A2 however is rather large in Small! (From my measurements and weight, I was suggested to get a Medium, I could have pitched tent in that!). Just will ya look at those wide sleeves! On the face of it maybe I'm just tiny... but here are the sizes for the small A2 I received. The chest is probably ok, but the body and arms too long and baggy, perhaps this is a Small/Long? Oh, and the floor of my studio has seen better days. I have troubled another member to help me send over a Wings Indy too in XS so let's se how that turns out when/if it arrives! (Why all the hassle? Well, shipping to a US member and then on to the UK costs around $55, Wings wanted $160 to ship here!)

KT, Sorry to hear that U.S. Wings needs to majorly overhaul their sizing charts! Right next to the word "small" on the tag, is a marked out word with what looks to be magic marker. Maybe it was supposed to read "small - for a dragon", or "small - NOT". The jacket looks pretty nice, other than not matching up to the size you needed. Ken

It's weird how the jacket makes your face blurry. Sorry that one wasn't what you had expected in terms of size but it really looks pretty good, KT. Even like that. I know those sleeves are driving you nuts but "Step out" of all things Indy for a moment and give the jacket a second look. It's a very nice jacket AND it looks good on you. Wrists bunched like that and all. It's great to see how these things are sized. It's been a mystery over yonder for a long time. No direct straight answers on sizing and always a guess. This is helpful. I do know by the looks of it you're wearing what would become my favorite daily wear jacket so far. If you do end up selling it I call dibs!
