Hey Cowboy! Come down to Las Cruces, NM. A buddy of mine owns a HUGE ranch that includes (among many other mountain ranges) the mountain range that gave Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders their name. "The Rough and Ready Mountains" belong to Billy at the Corralitos Ranch, and you can pick from a large selection of horses and mules to ride up there and check out the ancient petroglyphs. If you or anyone else is i interested, I have pictures from my last visit. Sorry to threadjack!!!! Love the jacket and the hat! I would love to see the photos and see in person!

Since we seem to be discussing jackets and hats, let me answer Cowboy's question about my brims and what bash I wear. I wear what some people call the Roy Rogers bash. It's a pinch front, C-crown which was common back in the 40's and 50's but not seen much in western hats today. The brim is 3.5 but could be a bit larger or smaller. I like that style because it's remenicent of the old western serials but isn't truly accurate to the old West itself. Putting a wide grosgrain ribbon on a western hat really sets it off. If you want to explore some great western styles, check out randhats.com. Well, where are the pics? let's see em, if we are too off topic, we can move it to GC. Roy's my Boy! I was invited down to his ranch back in '94.
