I recently purchased this fine replica of the Raiders headpiece from G-MANN, and while I could not be happier with it, I didn't have a chance to snap a few pictures of it until tonight. I have no idea who made it, but it seems like a very good replica to me (I am no expert, I'm just going by what I see in the Lucasfilm archive book). It's gold-plated with a light amber colored crystal that is mirror backed. Here are the pics! A few shots of where the headpiece rests in the "Indy office" And last, I wanted to share a picture of the Raiders sandbag that I also recently acquired (again, thanks to G-MANN). It's found a nice home among some other gear in the top shelf of my office bookcase. For those wondering, the bag is an original MK-VII with an AB Deluxe buckle on the strap; the gunbelt is an MBA Costumes version (Noel Howard) circa 1999; the holster is a Raiders style from Western Stage Props (essentially a Keppler clone); the gloves are genuine Wells Lamont 1130's; the Binoculars are the same type used by Indy in LC and the maproom brush is a 1st run PBG. Oh, and no, I don't have real sand in the sandbag, it's actually filled with an old shirt. ;D -GCR

I believe that the RA headpiece you have there is an ACME Artifacts version.

Nice head piece - but tell me about your whip. I don't think I've ever seen the whole thing.

Actually, it looks like a Relica Props headpiece. I used to own one. It's an awesome looking headpiece. Congrats, and I gotta tell you, Griff,...I love the layout. Nice decorating. 'Blues

Henry, Pagey, Holt & 'Blues...thanks guys! Well, ACME or Replica Props, I've got no clue either way...all I know is that it's my first real Indy prop and I couldn't be happier with it! Pagey - my whip is an 8 foot, natural tan Indy whip purchased from Western Stage Props back in October of 2006. I have no idea which whipmaker produced it, but it seems well made (though not completely SA). Anyways, here's a pic of the whole thing. -GCR

That's an awesome looking whip along with... everything else lol. Where'd you get the bag strap? I'm not a huge fan of the lighter brown/tan leather ones, I'm looking for more of a black, or nearly black one. I might just make mine out of some leather fabric, but I'm afraid of it looking amateur

The bagstrap came with the bag, but I cannot remember for the life of me where I bought the bag as it was about 10 years ago. The strap was actually a really ugly reddish color that I hated, so I changed it... i128.photobucket.com/albums/p163/GCR5/MyGear56.jpg[/img]The red color is the original color, and I made it more of a true brown using a combination of black and brown shoe polish, leather conditioner and sealer. The color was on the topside only. Feel free to check out my old "gear collection" thread in the photo gallery for more info: indylounge.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=gallery&action=display&thread=1170548853I think a few things need to be updated, but mostly it's all there. -GCR
