Well, I've finally gotten myself a YouTube Account. I've got my first two Scamper the Penguin Rescores up there. The quality isn't the greatest, though, but that's only because the audio gets muted by the WMG if I upload it in full quality. I've provided annotations if you want to follow along with the plot, but if you'd rather not, then you can just watch the rescore without them. Here's the first one. And here's the second one. UPDATE 7/10/2011: Here's #3. UPDATE 9/12/2011: First three parts re-uploaded in high-quality. All further uploads will be in this quality. UPDATE 9/18/2011: All parts except final part uploaded. UPDATE 10/21/2011: I should've posted this here when I uploaded it, but here's the final part. Steven

Thanks, Buck! What was your favorite part? Yeah, the WMG is annoying, but I do understand why they do what they do. They're pretty brutal, though. Steven

I remember this cartoon! I loved Scamper the Penguin. I think these are really cool videos. Pretty amazing how well the music fits.

I remember this cartoon! I loved Scamper the Penguin. I think these are really cool videos. Pretty amazing how well the music fits. Good to see another fan here on the Lounge! I did this rescore because I wanted to make a version of this cartoon for people with two digits in their age. A version with little more seriousness (the music) and wit (like Gilbert accidentally hitting the offscreen penguin with the rock) than the original. I see Scamper as a little blue-feathered Indiana Jones (except just a little more moral), so I made the rescore mostly Indiana Jones. I added BTTF and LiS music only out of necessity. And just wait... There's still more. The next part is Scamper's Very First Adventure, which I scored ENTIRELY with Indy's Very First Adventure. (Makes sense, doesn't it?) Also, it might interest you to know that in your introduction thread, when I mentioned doing a crossover "with a penguin adventure film from my childhood," Scamper the Penguin was what I was talking about. My story is a crossover when Scamper is all grown up and crosses paths with Indy. Haven't been working on it lately, since my rescores have been taking up most of my time. Steven

Steven Cool, I look forward to seeing the rest of your videos. It's been a long time since I've seen Scamper the Penguin, nice to know he hasn't been forgotten. Really? That's pretty cool. I look forward to reading it when you're finished. Yeah I know how that goes, I write stories too and sometimes other endeavors do take precedence over writing. It's nice to know though, that when the dust settles, the story is still there waiting for you.

Yup. Actually, the original American video is up on two channels on YouTube, one that seems to have been cut in a helter-skelter fashion, with some chunks missing, and another with nothing missing, but in slightly poorer quality. The former has TONS of comments on it. Also, I may work on the story, which, BTW, is titled "Indiana Jones and the Mask of Omnipotence", simultaneously with the rescore. All of the "master reels" of the Rescore are ready, I just have to make compressed copies of them to put on Youtube. While I do that, I suppose I could work on the crossover as well. Steven

Just as a heads up, I'm not going to post the rescore all at once. It could be months before I post the next one, or the one after that, or the rest of them. Oh, well. At least it'll give me more time to work on that crossover. Steven
