Hello Everyone! Because I had no Indiana Jones jacket since approximatly one years, the last month, I bought 2 wested Jackets, one in Authentic Lambskin from ebay and one in Soft Goat from the COW. I love this 2 Jacket but the Authentic Lambskin is little bit to slim for me and I hate the unused look of this jacket. I don't like the brown color and it's for this reason that I'm happy to show my methode to distress my Lambskin jacket. My methode is realy simple, no pecard, no brush, no sand paper, no dyeing and no acetone. I like this methode and I love the result because I'm a fanatic of the jacket in the FLYING WING and TRUCK CHASE. img156.imageshack.us/img156/8201/001fie.jpgimg42.imageshack.us/img42/9526/002gk.pngAnd this the picture before the distress.... img375.imageshack.us/img375/5421/004uz.jpgAnd Now, this is my methode to distress my Jacket in video... www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6vAGW0tIyc www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAKKkSQNIyo www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjeCSay7hXYLook the picture after the distress... img214.imageshack.us/img214/973/007vz.jpgIt's weird but the brown tint is disappeared, LOL. Honnetelty, the real dust did a true miracle with the brown tint. Thanks for looking! Jason

I think you nailed the best way to distress your jacket. It's natural, though accelerated, wear and tear and pretty believable. I'll give this method a try.
Thanks,

i like your method but the part where you rub it around in the muddy water seems a bit drastic. it also turned it a greyish color. indys jacket only looks like that when he is rolling around in durt but most of the time it looks a bit cleaner

nice work! I have scraped shirts against brick walls before but never done that! most people would freak out at a guy deliberately destroying such an expensive jacket
how much was it again?......

its perfect for replicating the look of what the jacket looks like during the airplane fight and after the truck chase as thats when its at its dirtyest
so you might wanna find someone with an old truck and do some photomanips to show it off from an IC point of view

Video links not active. Could you describe the process? I am looking to naturally accelerate the distress of my lamb Wested. Thanks.

Thanks for this, even though I had to close my eyes during parts of the videos. My distress methods to my Wested jacket involved daily hiking with a 14 lb to 21 lb backpack to crawling around in my house's crawlspace on the concrete ground (though, not by choice). Never in a million years would I actually be brave enough to do what you did to your jacket.
