Indiana Jones 5 Happening At Fox?www.cinemablend.com/new/Indiana-Jones-5-Happening-At-Fox-13509.htmlWe’ve been running a lot of headlines ending in question marks today, so please be aware that if we throw a “?” on the end of a story title it doesn’t mean were’ big fans of The Riddler. Rather, it’s an indicator that whatever we’re reporting on is probably a pretty wild rumor which can’t be substantiated at all and should be treated as such. For example… this:
Pause.com is reporting that the Indiana Jones franchise isn’t as dead as it seems. Sure Harrison Ford is rapidly turning into dust and sure everybody hated the last movie but, well, it did make a lot of money. So Pause claims to have a mysterious source who tells them that Indiana Jones 5 is actually in the works, not at Paramount Pictures where the last movie was distributed, but over with 20th Century Fox.
Is it possible? Sure, why not. George Lucas really loves money and it would seem, so does Harrison Ford. Likely? Unless this is some sort of franchise reboot or torch-passing in which Shia LaBeouf takes over as the new Indy, more Harrison Ford in a hat just doesn’t make sense. Ken

Thanks for the info. I hope they do make another movie. CS had its problems for sure, but it had its moments that really made me happy to see Indy again. I disagree with the anti-Ford tone of the original article. I thought he was great.
The main problems I saw with CS was:
1) Too many characters. Oxley wasnt really necessary, neither was Mac. 2) Marion didnt have a drinking contest with the Russkies!? 3) Bad guys not bad enough. Dancing russians in the jungle were not too forboding.... SHould have made them rougher and nastier. 4) Monkeys tarzan and prairie dogs OH MY!
But I still enjoyed it. Mainly due to Harrison Ford. He's the best.
Having said all that, I doubt that they would make one this quick. Lucas took 20 years to come up with CS.... How could he get another one done this quick?

I agree with pretty much all of that angrynj. I will add that I think it wouldn't hurt to even have another director and producer do the next Indy film, provided George and Steven can't do any better than they did last time around. Harrison should stay put, he is Indiana Jones until they get another leading man to be a decent 40 yr old stand in, Shia would need about a foot in height and twenty more years before he could distill into a decent Indy. Oh, and the only thing I didn't agree with is the Marion drinking thing, at her age it would look kind of bad I would think, but everything else could have been written by me word for word.
