Complete Indiana Jones Music on the way:www.musicfromthemovies.com/article.asp?ID=1182Back in May we revealed that Concord Records would re-release John Williams original scores for the Indiana Jones films. Well that time is about to come as the label releases details of the CD set. ‘Indiana Jones: The Complete Soundtracks Collection’ will hit stores on November 11th and features expanded and remastered albums of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Joining the three expanded scores is the original Concord release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and an audio interview disc with John Williams, making this a five disc set to get your hands on and then some. Raiders has of course been expanded before, but hasn’t been available since the Silva release of 1995 and being the first (and for some, best) of the series, Concord is releasing the score separately on October 14th to coincide with the DVD release of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The other expanded scores will only be available in the box set for the time being, though Concord has confirmed that they will likely be reproduced separately later in the year or early in 2009. It’s a very exciting prospect, but time will tell as to how extensive the expansions of Temple of Doom and Last Crusade really are…Ken

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that TOD and LC get released individually later on, since I've already got the expanded Raiders soundtrack and I've also got the KOTCS soundtrack. I certainly wouldn't mind owning another copy of Raiders if it included new music, but the version I have has nearly every second of music from the movie, so I can't imagine what else they could add. And I also have no desire to own a second copy of KOTCS, as (like the film itself) I thought it was easily the weakest and least inpsired soundtrack of the entire series. There is, however, a lot of good music from TOD and LC that never made it onto the previous soundtrack releases, so I'll be looking forward to those two.

Man, they are marketing SO much stuff, DVD's, CD's, Games, Toys, Action Figures, Cereal, Etc., Etc., Etc. it makes hy head want to explode. I can't even imagine how much money it would cost to collect all this stuff. Or the mortgage on a second home to house it all. ;D It's no wonder they made a fouth movie. This way they can re-market the hell out of the first three as well as the newest one. All I know is they have gotten all the cash of mine that they will ever get. Cheers, John

I got the silva screen expanded Raiders CD and its a shame the rest of the films never got the same treatment
I have "volume II" of ToD and LC which features all the unreleased music, but the ToD disc contains sound effects from the surround sound and you cant really listen to it with noises from the film
I am only missing one track from raiders, and there is several minutes missing from the jungle chase track on the KCS soundtrack, so its about time they did something about it

I'm looking forward to getting all of the soundtracks again. My copy of the expanded Raiders soundtrack was in the 1984 Jeep CJ-7 that was stolen from me about 2 and a half years ago.

One sequence is missing...the "escape from the Well of Souls" ! You know, starting from when Indy sees the snakes entering thru holes in the wall and ending when he frees Marion from the mummies' grasps.

If they include it, that would make buying the Raiders soundtrack (again) worthwhile, at least for me.
