I see these 2 sellers, ReelArt and costumebase & was wondering how they are. As I'm just getting into this, I don't want to spend too much. I figure I could always upgrade later. Does anyone recommend anyone else that's not too expensive? Thanks!

Avoid ReelArt.......I've heard bad things about their stuff.... A friend bought me the headpiece to the Staff of Ra from ( I believe) Costumebase and it's a very well made prop.....It's not totally accurate due to there being the same writing on the front and back but that's about the only flaw I saw with mine...

I have a couple of ReelArt's replicas. They are pretty... ok. I bought a replica of Elsa's lighter from him. It has stickers on the sides, and it wasn't very clear in the description. I gave it to my brother, and he really likes it.
I have his Grail. It's decent, but not very accurate. I had to paint it. I also have his Staff of Ra headpiece, and it's really accurate but made of resin.
I also have a Costumebase headpiece. It's really cool, not as accurate as the resin one in the fact that it's too flat and the markings are the same on each side. But, being made of metal, it's a lot nicer.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I noticed that from costumebase about the Ra headpiece and I was like, wait isn't it supposed to be different on both sides? ;D

I believe it is worth it to save up and get it good the first time. I bought a reelart Staff of Ra headpiece and was disappointed. It was very light weight, next to nothing and the eyes both fell out. Acme Artifacts is the way to go. Different writing on both sides and made of metal, zinc I believe. It is very heavey and a shiney gold. A truly beautiful piece, I love it. You get what you pay for. It cost $100. Very fast turn time.
Check them out. Deffinately research before you buy.

I ended up getting a Ra headpiece from costumebase; $15 beats $100 as I don't have much dough to buy top of the line stuff.

i ordered the headpiece from costumbase too. i wonder how long it will take to arrive. i am really looking forward to it.
The price was really good, i got it for like $ 15 with suggesting a price. well i had to add the shipping costs, but that was alright.
