Where is the update about the jacket status? I noticed that you posted something at COW about it this morning, but nothing here. This place has been nothing but supportive of your jacket project, and has given the whole thing an open, honest chance. COW gave you nothing but grief leading up to the posting of John's jacket photos, and now they seem to want to hop on board... atleast in small numbers.

I think Indy Lounge should be the first place you post information, especially given John's extensive help with the current design (sending you one of his Expeditions), buying the first jacket / waiting so long to get, and finally.... offering to throw tons more of his own money into getting your jackets into the hands of Lounge members. This is invaluable support, and I just get frustrated when I don't see the respect returned. I have offered my continuous support here in promoting the whole thing, but nothing in comparison to John... since it's been his money and Expedition jacket that have helped move this thing along. his generosity is unequalled, but shouldn't be taken for granted... that ticks me off for his and the Lounge's sake.

I don't just want you to throw us a bone... I want the first bone.

I'm sorry if you are upset that I posted on COW. I was replying to PLATON who was expecting some news today. The news is: THERE IS NO NEWS.

Listen, I do appreciate the atmosphere on this board, and the help offered by GMANN. He's a great guy and I've enjoyed getting to know him over the phone.

BUT...I won't walk a tightrope between the two boards. I have also received invaluable help by COW members that you do not know about. They feel I owe THEM. Remember Michaelson going off when he thought I posted pictures HERE first?

If this is going to be an ongoing problem, I'll just have to quit posting. Perhaps that would be best anyway. It doesn't seem like the other vendors have these problems, even though they don't always post the same information on both boards.

I can fully appreciate the strains of appeasing everybody - I barely got off the ground before customer pressure put me back in the hanger...

one easy way out - when you do post something, simply copy the text and paste it again wherever. Only takes a second and keeps the different folks happy.

I do hope minor squabbles won't dampen your progress, as your jacket is one of the most interesting developments lately.

Hmm... sounds pretty cut and dry to me. Pagey hit the nail on the head with his cut & paste suggestion. Why keep the main place supporting your project out of the loop?

I can assure you that walking a tight rope won't be necessary around here, as I have no spare time to promote your jacket project any more.

OK folks, here we go.......

First of all, I hate to correct you Todd but I am the one that posted pictures at the Lounge of the Prototype jacket that you stated "upset Michaelson". However I did post them at Club Obi Wan also. Even though it was a few days later, I figured my close friends here deserved prefferential treatment over casual acquaintences.

I am sure that you have received a lot of help on your jacket project from COW members also. It would be foolish of me to think that I was in any way a factor in the production of the Prototype. All I did to help was let you borrow the Expedition AFTER I received the Prototype.

However I think it would have been nice of you to duplicate the information here that you provided earlier at Club Obi Wan.

Since I get the feeling that this whole DEAL may have put you in the middle of something that I do not want to be responsible for, I will cancel this special offer. No more pressure from me.

I was only trying to help push your jacket sales up and I KNOW that a lot of the folks here were really Gung-Ho on the Deal and ready to place thier orders.

I will come up with an alternative deal for the folks at the Lounge for our 1 year Anniversary.
