I agree with you about the color being too light for my tastes. I'm in the dark brown category (like Pagey), as I see the jacket as almost black most of the time. The dark brown jackets look lighter brown outdoors anyway, so they really fit the bill for me. This kind of leather would look really good on an Indy jacket! I especially like the look of the leather on the pocket, as it already has that "scraped with a knife" look going on. Here's hoping Peter can find a darker version of something like this, as I would see it as a great money maker for him.  Ken |

I see Peter has posted some "teaser" pictures of the new "worn" lambskin over at COW. I like certain aspects of the look of the jacket, but I'm not crazy about the color. Definitely needs to be darker.
Hey KT, is this the same leather color you were talking about earlier? It sure looks similar to that other photo you posted.
I really hope Peter gets the color down right as I think this jacket could really be great in terms of screen-accuracy, price and authenticity (with the Wested name). But a light colored leather would be a deal breaker for me...I hope this is just a prototype!!!

It's more to try out the leather, see if it hangs properly and see what the surface looks like made up. He knows about the colour! Too light was one of the first things I said when I saw it. Hopefully he finds one much darker! He had one which looked exactly like the close up of G-Manns jacket, but didn't seem to want to use that for some reason. So he is looking for something... |
