It arrived today.. ( sorry.. no epic pickup story ;D ) and let me jsut say.. it is even better than the first one I received.. the HH is incredibly soft.. like it compares to my lamb.. its that soft ???pockets are smaller... and REINFORCED>. something i noticce my old wested did not have!  Kudos peter! the Collar is smaller too... Looks good on me..  I`ll have pics up tomorrow... Merry Christmas everyone!! CJ |

Glad to hear that you got the new jacket in CJ! I think it's great of Peter to take care of the situation like he did. In a case like this, it must be hard to take someone's word on how the jacket ripped. I know I would have been very skeptical, but I'm sure you gave him all the details. Either way, Peter made the very best of the situation for you, so big cheers to him as well!  Ken |

Not to worry guys, I to have a HH raiders on the way, and I will certainly be posting pics. My original order was for cowhide, but after talking with KT he told me how nice the HH was. I emailed Gemma to check the status of my order and she said Dear Sir, your jacket has not yet been cut, and it takes between 21-28 days. So I emailed her and asked if I could switch to HH and she said it wouldn't be a problem. So lets see- my order went through on Feb 2, so I should be getting it at the end of this month.. Sincerely, Prof.Wex Right! No pressure or anything! |

:: cringe...:: you guys are really gonna hate me... It's going back to wested..It has two completely different pocket flaps.. and I just noticed... One is amazingly scalloped... and the other... is a plain V.. D'oh!.. i`ll post pics before she goes..

The HH looks really nice. I wonder how much "heavier" it is compared to the goatskin jackets......Which by the way are discontinued now. Cj, how many times now have you had to send your jackets BACK to Wested because of something?  I cannot believe your luck with this company. |

I wouldn't send it back for something like that. THe pockets look more or less the same to me - and once they start being used and curl up a bit you won't spot the difference. Don't forget that leather stretches and shrinks differently in different places as it's used. Look at my pockets- the flaps might be the same, or they might not...  |

Pitfall.. if i send this one back.. it will make four back and forth journeys to england.. and the hide really isn`t all that heavy compared to a goatskin biker jacket I have.. but to be honest.. it feels alot better than my lambskin.. and it still doesn`t have a scratch on it
Pagey.. your right.. it may not look all that different.. but it is one of those things tha`tll bother me.. but I will head your advice
Dirk: glad you like the pockets size.. at least something came out right the first time!

The silly thing is if you look at the scene where he's filling the sandbag. One pocket seems scalloped the other much less so. You might be screen accurate! |
