Ok folks, so along with wanting replicas of Indy's revolvers, I like I'm sure a lot of you, am also hunting down real ones. My question to you is this...If you found them not specifically chambered in .455, would you still buy it?
While on the hunt, I've come across a few that have been rechambered for different calibers and some of them, the price is pretty decent. For me, I'm really considering it, especially with the extreme rarity of the Webley Green, let alone a Webley. The S&W aren't as hard to find but I've seen a few not only in different calibers, but also in the 4" barrel. I guess since these aren't so much for costuming(obviously), as the collection and occasional shoot so I guess it's really up to me then huh? Kind of a YMMV or an "If it works for you", sort of thing...
Anyways, what say you guys?

I would say if you found one, get it!! To me the caliber size is not that important as the overall look that you are going for. Most people, (other than us gear heads) are not going to know if Indy's gun was a .38 or a .455 ACP, etc.,etc.
In the end, it is going to be you that decides if you are happy with anything less than SA gear.
