For those who do not yet know... www.collector-actionfigures.com/dash/blog/first-look-at-figma-indiana-jones/Mind you this isn't a 12" figure, but something more in scale with Hasbro's 'Black Series' 6-inch line?? A lot of folks are saying (over on other Indy-fan media that they're 'passing on this one' cuz they love their Sideshow and Hot Toys figures... buuuuut... this ain't no foot-tall tomb-robber. For those that don't have the Disney Parks 8" Indy figures, this'll be a nice figure to get. The cost is a bit prohibitive ($50-60), buuuut... how many Indy's do we really get to blow our cash on, eh? Personally, I wish they had the "Raiders" style holster as an option... as much as I like what they've done here. And... not to shill for anyone, but Big Bad Toy Store is already taking pre-orders on this figure for $59.99... just FYI. Probably other shops are doing the same...

WOW! I'm not thrilled with the sculpt, but at that price, I'll probably bite! Thank you for the heads up!

Do we actually know the scale? I have the 8inch Tomb Raider 2013 Play Arts Kai on my desk. So I hope he's the same scale so that I can pose them next to each other.

baptiste;
According to what one well-written review(er) said, this actually falls somewhere between 5 & 5.5 inches in height... so this may "not be the droi-... erp... 'archaeologist' you're looking for". The Disney Park figures I mentioned are your best bets (at current) if you're looking for an 8-inch Indy. I'll take and attach some size-comparison pics later, to show you the Disney Indy, which rumour has it, were sculpted by Gentle Giant for the Parks.

Oh wow. Only 5 inches? That's way too small for $50.
Yeah, been considering the Disney figure for awhile. Had one in my hands recently, but the box was in poor shape. In retrospect, shoulda bought it to open it.

Yeah, that is a bit steep for an 'almost-six-inch figure, as it the reviewer said comes in just under 6 inches. So, it's basically scaled like a black series Star Wars figure. Don't think of it as a 5 inch figure... it's closer to 6.. Still pretty steep though...

Saw this yesterday too, I'll most likely go ahead and preorder this. It says that its approx. 150 mm which is about 5.9 inches, so almost 6 in.
Been waiting a long time for a highly articulated Indy figure. I have the two Disney Parks exclusive figures from Disneyland as well. They're about 7 inches tall, only the articulation isn't as good as I would like, but are still nice.
